Pero si no es ni el primero ni único de su tipo, sus raíces empiezan en el año 2001 con el juego llamado "Motor City Online", que después por muchos problemas de nuevos corredores fue cancelado a mediados del año 2003... y recuerdo que se hizo lo mismo... Poner betas' , MODS' por un montón y gratis. Fue olvidado por el tiempo, ya que solamente se comercializo por Estados Unidos y muy pocas personas del lado europeo, pudo jugarlo.
