Interesting...so what ever happen to freedom of religion then? I guess you better start endorsing the readings from every other religion as well to keep it fair. C'mon Chuck, its this kind of idiocy that divides people and creates hate towards each other. Start teaching bible study in school and you are giving people a reason to discriminate against other religions. Ask yourself this, how would you feel if your child was forced to study the Quran at school. Its time u stop being a puppet Chuck.

The founding fathers were not Christian, some maybe, but most were Deists, NOT CHRISTIANS. The bible does not belong in public schools, if you are a Christian how would you feel about the Qur'an being used as a textbook for every student? if the bible gets this usage why not any other religious book?

How would supporters of this initiative want the Bible to be presented in the public schools? Surely not devotional? That's not allowed. How about taking taking it apart and examing its content, history, language, and influences on culture - good and bad in the most scholarly fashion?
