its in that expression, he still looks like a child
this is probally the saddest moment yet in one piece, theres been sad moments but all made happy again.... and it broke me to see luffy so sad without his crew :(

@YouNube5 i guess you havn't seen Real good animations! look at other animes! compared to many this is crap! it looks cheap and the effects are simple. Look up "ao no exorcist" and look at that animation! this is possibly the worst animation i've seen! don't these animators have a budget? isn't this show one of the most famous in the world? and they can't even make it look profesional!
@SheSister Well I looked up ae no exorcist. It looks like every other generic anime out there. Nothing special. You're the first person I've heard complain about One Piece's animation and I see no problem with it. How does it look unprofession?
@YouNube5 hmm... well, the lined are very jarch and unsmooth, the lines also are to thin at some points, they could variete the thikness to make it look more livelier! The movements when the charactars move look kinda... dull? it doesn't feel realistic (ok that sound silly but i hope you understand what i mean!) and think they are too many still pictures! makes it look lika a gallery more then a animation! youtubeuser Smyton4tw makes better or animations equal to this, and he's a fan animator!
@SheSister I see where your getting at. This animation looks different than what it normally is. I however can't put my finger on if it's good or bad. Compared to other arcs in One Piece, this was different. First glance I thought it looked good with the color and seemed almost more toward HD (if that makes sense) but I see where you are going.
@SheSister Oh and there is the fact that, in my opinion, One Piece handles filler episodes the best. Maybe they were rushed to get these animations out since it was a pretty big part of the series.. If memory serves me correct there were only like 2 fillers if any during this arc.
Good animation is the last thing I would look for in an anime. Why would it be the first for you? That is like saying that Charlie Brown is the worst cartoon ever. Personally, story is the first thing to look for, then the personalities of the characters, then maybe, just maybe, one looks at how good the anime is. Usagi Drop is an excellent example of this. A story makes up for terrible animation with ease.
