@Jacksonpc1 Even with In Flight Refueling (IFR) Ever aircraft has a time limit. Fuel isn't an aircrafts only issue. Crew fatigue. Enginges need lubrication as well as fuel. Although with IFR aircraft can stay up for a very long time, they cant stay up forever
Well yes I know there all of this. However, as someone who used to maintain these aircraft I can tell you that oil consumption is not really an issue. You will also see that they will fly with more than one flight crew. One will fly the airplane while the other sleeps. With this time in the air is virtually unlimited.
