  • Stupid woman! Who doesn't want to feel normal? That's not being proud.. that's just human nature.

  • My mother has Alzheimer's. My Grandmother had it. I fear that I may also get it. I pray for a cure. The testing brings back memories of my mom's testing which I have recordings. One thing rather amazing I have found. My mom may not know who I am but she responds to music. She remembers the words to songs & tries to sing-along.

  • my grandfather is completely gone, he doesnt know who his wife is, his own house, etc.. what a fridge or a bed is.. or how to dress or shower properly. yet he knows catchy jingles off the tv. i find this really weird.

at the end of this, she was saying that hugh is a proud man and has developed strategies to appear as normal as possible.

my pop does the same, he is able to hold somewhat of a conversation, and act so normal. but he is really not. at all.

its hard to watch. he used to be so strong

  • My grandmother has dementia, she is 96, she knows no one. But yet when I sing to her she sings the chourous to the church hymnns. Strange!
