  • What variety of pulmonaria is that? I've seen so many, but want to know what gets the most bees.

  • @robomantis Hi there. I believe it to be Pulmonaria officinalis. I googled after not finding Officinalis in my rather old RHS Encyclopedia. It seeds freely too, so you can give some to your bee friendly friends. It's a great all year rounder. Flowers very early spring here in S.E.UK and gorgeous colours. When the flowers are over, cut off the dead stems and the leaves grow big, giving some shade for other creatures and slugs and snails I'm afraid.
