Some guy had had ugly bleeding scrapes on his after they rolled there blue bobsled. It's to late to reallign the track now as it would take days to reallign the curves and the olympics would be over by then. They failed on the computer simulation when they designed it. Also the Vancouvers is a sharp Zig Zag design while othe cities used a gradual pigtail deisign where the track goes over and under it self.

Shows how little you know about luge. Pulling 5 g in most corners puts a huge amount of strain on your body. Tensing your muscles stops blood moving to different parts of your body so you can lean against the turns and use your legs to turn as well. Try putting up with half a dozen runs a day involving turns that put that much stress on your body then say they aren't athletes.

The pilot-Minins trains at the Latvian Bobsleigh Track that has poor management. The track Director made it difficult for me to do training on the track. Irregular schedule and late hours to made it near impossible to organise a Number Two in my sled. Someone even took my sled without my permission and crashed it! This happened when the track Director said I could not train for two weeks as there was not to be bobsleds on the track. Then I get accussed of not performing like a professional!

In Latvia the track Director still has a Soviet approach to Bobsleigh. They rely more on government backing than corporate. I told him that I had successfully raised thousands of dollars for sport in China and Australia. I even offered to pay more to use the track but he just made excuses to shut me down. So the supported guys don't get as much support as they could if their leaders were more professional.
