Hard to tell from the screen, but from some areas on your face, I look forward to hearing about your Drs appointment today. Depending on the news, might be worth discussing Glycogen storage disease if you suffer from hypoglycemia.
@opensighted I should get the results in about a week. They didn't do the test where I have to drink sugar. They did say they would test my blood sugar and thyroid levels (i was fasting when they took my blood). I left there feeling like they didn't really hear me. I will be sure to share the results when I get them. I could use your advice. Thanks so much.
runningraw has some great videos about some of these very questions. if you haven't already, you may want to check it out. Tim is a raw athlete. Some of my favs are "the protein myth", "stressful foods", "cooked vs raw", and "is a raw diet deficient?"
Wow, it seems like grumpy was a common theme with raw foodists today. Thanks for all your kind comments on my site. I'm broke down and ate some cheese pizza (not raw) tonight. I wish I had the energy to go for a walk tonight but I was way too weak. I'm even experiencing a brain fog. Locked myself out of my own home this afternoon when I went to the bus stop to pick up my daughter. Weird, grumpy, tired, weirdness...
You will get through it. Hang in there. It takes time to transition, and we tend to rely on our old crutches until we have a firm confidence in no longer needing them. I hope you enjoyed your pizza without guilt, and that you will feel renewed tomorrow.
I can't thank you enough for your care and support. I ate without guilt and am back on track. I think I'll go purchase a good multi-vitamin so I won't be tempted to think it's a nutritional issue in the future.
Trust me, you are getting way more nutrition from raw foods than you ever will from a vitamin. If in doubt, blend a green smoothie. As long as you are eating a balance of fruits, veggies and lots or dark, leafy greens, there is no room for deficiency, unless you have a problem with assimilation, in which case, a multivitamin will be even more useless. But if it makes you feel better to take a tablet, just be sure it contains natural vitamins. Synthetic ones do more harm than good.

Thanks for the vitamin advice. I might just shoot for a green smoothie instead. Great idea!
