  • Man it's Joe Walsh at the end haha awesome! they re both fucked up but so good

  • this man is genius

  • we miss you

  • Great players like Albert know less is more. Guys like him can say so much with so few notes. and those notes hit your spine, chills run up and down it, and in the end, the blues let you know there are others who have felt your pain and their music will keep you sane. does it for me.

  • Im feeling it, and its feels so bad...And yet so good

  • Not many notes but every one got the weight of a hundred !!

  • to love the blues u must be artist

  • yueahhhhhh thank you sir thank you

  • if you are watching this video - you are eiter a musician or a fan of the ekectric blues. Either way, it doesn't get more hart felt that this. Knowing that Albert was never in the lime light of pop, he was absolutley the real deal. I had the honer of meeting him in Tucon in 1985 and when I told him he was an insparation, his eyes welled up. God bless Albert Collins. jmp4blues

  • @yolchie Great Blue Heron?

  • Who is the piano player?Damn he is good!

  • In great pieces you can hear apart of the performers soul this is one of them.

  • Albert Collins still gives me the chills when I hear and see him play...

  • only in blues can you play air guitar and real guitar at the same time and make it beautiful.

  • @lanedeinsane and classical and gospel and soft rock... etc

  • Albert showed a lot of class and self-restraint by not pimp-slapping that clown Joe Walsh upside his head and across the muth* f**kin stage! He should have been bowing down at Albert Collins feet instead of making an *ss out of himself!

  • Freak,n CoooL!!!...

    Ain,t it???...

    Right!.

  • what a nasty man, are you listening to that guitar solo

  • Where was this recorded?

  • @8:02

And we salute you too, Sir Albert!

  • When he went into that lick at 7:20 he blew everyone's wig off.

  • Powerful

  • Who is the alto sax player? He hymned up the solo starting around the 4:00 mark.

  • its amazing going back and seeing the original influencial figures of the present blues guitarists - like john mayer for instance.

  • You can't be sure whether he plays the guitar or just makes it cry by itself.

  • The man played which such beauty

  • This is pure gold!

  • Comment removed

  • "Thank you for all your licks"...ba***rd...what a contrast between the exceptional performance given by Albert Colins and the whole band and thecrapy verbiage of the stonely broken guy at the end...

  • hahahaha..... 1:50, it's kinda funny ^^,

    yeah, the pianist is awesome,

  • I think it's Johnny Johnson playing the piano ...

  • I wish I could click 10 times on thumbs up. Awesome !! (Carlos from Brazil)

  • gem!

  • MASTER!!

  • He puts so much energy into his music!

  • Mr. Collins' complexity will take us into the ages. Every time I listen to the man I hear something new. Saw him live in 1985 at the Fox Theater in Atl. His disposition, his sense of humor, and his love of the medium is a monument for all of us who enjoy the blues.

  • the capos comin out after seein this!

  • Hard Times Bluesbrothers................

  • If trouble was Albert Collins, I'd be poor lol.

  • sorry danny gatton the master of the telecaster

  • Seen him on this tour and he was awesome! Had great seats and when he took the walk with the long cord he was about a foot in front of me. I just went nuts and he gave me this face like "This white boy is nuts" and then he gave me smile and a nod and put that Tele through its paces!

  • cool as hell! I like the crackhead at the end.

  • cool as hell!

  • Stupid-ass Joe Walsh...Albert was / is the "Real-Deal"!

sounds like a hot harp player in this band, who is he?

  • Τεραστιος μουσικος.. Greeks loves your mood Albert!

  • 4 people got money instead of trouble

  • Well it don't get much better that that!

  • Yo He,s Making The Strings Speak. Albert Is The Man. Look At His Face He Believes In The Song. These So Call Musicians These Day Has No Soul When They Perform They Perform To Correct To Have A Free Flow. That's The Blues Free To speak To The Ear!

  • Albert Collins the best there ever was,..... Joe Walsh a drunken baffoon.

  • Nobody leaves this place without singin' the blues!

  • @gerby90 HahaahahaHaHhah

  • For a guy who started playing guitar at 18 my good this guy knocked me on my ass I stumbled across him whilst watching stormy Monday bb king. An just from watching you could tel bb king thought shit this guys come to kick ass bb king one of my favourites but I goto say albert surpaced him on that one. This track it's awsome.

  • For my brother and me he was the greatest and whe saw him so many times live and when he died it was the saddest day whe can remember and I wrote to Bruce Iglauer from Alligator Records for I was member from the start of that label and Albert's late wife Gwen Collins wrote us back that's she was a widow but she could laugh for the good times Albert brought here.R.I.P Albert and tell it like its is,tell it,call us out and Jam around in Bluesheaven buddy

  • His guitar playing is so powerful. Take note young guitarist. Forget the flash and concentrate on feeling.

  • WARNING: don't start watching this video, 'cause when you get past the first seconds you're unable to navigate away from it for the next 9 minutes.

  • Great musicians, although I am really not fond of matching melodies on an instrument and on the voice.

  • Joe Walsh drunk as Cuda Brown.

  • Woww, Mr.Collins transpierces my heart with its power!!! ♪ Intense piece of Blues! ..Really too bad that the STUPID YELLOW CANARY at the end of song(Looks Mr.Collins is gene of its behavior) ... .. .

  • 4 people have no idea what music is

  • Welcome to the "blues"...pull up a chair and stay awhile !

  • Man Albert can play that is some of the best blues these ears have ever heard just unreal look at the confidence that man has the guy is a natural what a performer i just cant get enough of it what a master!!!!!

  • the best.

  • Great Keyboard payer. There is an interview on YouTube with Albert and Jimmie Vaughan, called Texas Blues. Mr. Collins explains the difference between Chicago and Texas bands and their respective instrumentation.

  • Thank you.

  • Is this the song used in the second love scene of jason's lyric? Sounds similar but not quite. Does anyone know the song thats used?

  • i wish i had a baby grand at every gig!

  • i don't want to mess with any guitar players out there. I love this shit. i could have been one of ya. In another life maybe. But listen to that piano. Driving this whole train. Not the organ the piano. The thing with just one keyboard. As a keyboard player I'm sayin' "i learned something from this"

  • Is it my imagination or is Albert Collins desperately trying to get away from Joe Walsh at the end. Come to think of it, I can't blame him. Walsh was behaving like a complete dick head ---- or should that be coke head?

  • The real deal with Razorblade!

  • really fuckin' unbeliaveble good

  • Yeah...great piano player.

  • Is this version recorded in audio format? I would love to buy it.

  • The scatting while playing guitar reminds me of George Benson, only AC does it better.

  • Framboisier au sax, on t'a reconnu!

  • Albert Collins was a Bad, Bad man!!!

  • If that guitar was a women, Albert would be charged with indecency!

  • I like Joe but he did not have to get in Als face at the end, damn I would have backed off too

  • Four people must be Justin Bieber fans. . . .

  • who is joe walsh talking about at the end?

  • @fishboy1424 The whole Band. You can see him pointing to the band members, then he says... Man!! She can sing the Blues. Check out Alberts reaction when Joe comes to hug him.He pulls away as if Joe had shit breath!! Ha ha

  • @phallystorm i know but i mean who is the woman he's talking about?

  • @fishboy1424 He is referring to the Band as 'She'. Like when you have a fast car, you say 'She' is quick!

  • nobody but nobody leave here without singin the blues hehe i love this guy albert is truly great

  • @mattkennedymusic I left singin the blues M

  • @mattkennedymusic lol where y'all think we're at, boise idaho?

  • A true Blues man. Way better than SRV in my opinion.

  • my favorite performer to see live, helped him change out a broken string once during a show (while he played). the mile long patch cable he would use and just walk around the club, out the door and back just a complete entertainer and one of the tone masters. he has worries no more.

  • What u would do to be there, live in front of them...god oh god..

  • Albert Collins, another Blues favorite of mine, ilove the Blues

  • What an amazing unique tone this guy has on his guitar. R.I.P The great die too young.

  • Albert was a beautiful spirit and I had the honor to see him several times live in intimate settings especially at the blues mecca of Tramps and the LoneStar Roadhouse...those were great heady days in NYC. Hanging with him after the gigs were great fun his music is eternal, bless you Blues Brother!!!

  • Saw Albert Collins open for Stevie Ray Vaughn back in the day. What a Concert! IIRC, it was at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago.

  • Masterpiece............ period. Peace , and Merry Christmas

  • HOLY CRAP!!!! I love Albert! The blues is the only way to go. And that sax solo was pretty awesome. I am definitely going to learn that next, after I master the guitar.

  • 1:20 dude is high as a kite.... tititititititit

  • OK kids here's Joe Walsh (guy kissing Albert at end) bringing you the one of the best anti-alcohol videos ever. Why couldn't my 9th grade health teacher have played this for my class. Would have saved me about 10 years slouching in bars!

  • his attack was awesome

  • can we ever stop friggin' comparing dudes playing? Respect everybody and you;ll be respected. It's time we grow up and just enjoy each other's talent.

  • he ain't master of the telecaster! he's master of guitar, actually, all mighty master of music

  • STRAIGHT UP BEAST!!!!

  • This song is like being eaten alive real slo. My trouble is money, and my money is trouble, and my women demand both. I'm selling, ain't nobody buying. Broke stuff I can't fix. Cherub, Cherub, Cherub me wrong. I'm a song writer don't you know, I ain't doing nothing wrong. I'm in Jeff City, you'll know when you see me, I'm glowing in Mo.

  • wow!

  • Did anyone else realize how fast Joe Walsh switched guitars??

  • What this guy did with his Telecaster here is brilliant. Those sudden, energetic licks that seem to emerge from nowhere and fly by like a racing car. Fantastic stuff

  • A GUITAR, A CABLE AND AN AMP THAT'S ALL THAT'S NEEDED BY THE MASTERS!

    TONE FOR DAYS!
