when i went to drayton manor for a school trip, i went on this with my friends and a teacher. when we were on the top he said to us not to look down and to smile to the birdies lol we went down i was like what the fuk just happened, why is my friends hair gone all spiky? LOL

Why Do You Hate Tower Drops?, Because My Favourite Ride Type Is Tower Drops, I Absolutely Love all the tower drops i've been on so far, except for Venom at West Midlands Safari Park, Because Venom is a tower drop that Jerks you down and I don't like tower drops when they do that, But tower drops like apocalypse are ones where you start dropping slowly and then increases speed!, I prefer that

I used to live in Germany as my dad is in the army. I always thought this was so scary until I went on Scream at heidepark. Scream is 103 metres high where as apoclypse is 53. Nearly twice as high...

hey guys re apocalypses "height". yeah ok it stands at 180 ft fair do's. Then add to that the fact that your on a hill, and DM park is below it ;) soo yeah its a high one guys but bit of an optical illusion ;)

That's so much better than the giant drop at dreamworld australia it's only about half the Hight and giant drop stays the for about 40 seconds

ive done all of the rides at thorpe park except detonator! i dont know why but i just hate all drop towers. i can do saw the ride colossus all other rides except detonator.

I love drop towers I go on them all the time but when I'm going up I'm like shitting myself then suddenly boom and it's over and I'm like well that was amazing lol x

It's a great ride! Stand-up with the floor gets me the most, you feel your feet lift off and it totally turns you inside out :L It's quite scary, but not quite as scary as Hurakan Condor, I bid you to check that one out, you'll start saying trahlalalala to passing aeroplanes :)

@TheLezo123 Ice blast is good fun,they do look like they might be the same,but they are very different.You don't think about the height because you get up there so quick,I love the Ice Blast.

I'v only been on 1 drop tower ride thing, and it was the tiny thing in blackpool, not the ice blast thats MASSIVE :| and the tiny thing terrified me..

@mesmoland I agree with you, i went on a ride in Island of adventure in Florida, USA. And it was called something like "Dr Doom's Free Fall" and it launches you up and its higher then that! Scared me but it was great!
