@bluechevy211 lmao i spun a bearing on my 97 z71 after getting stuck on a powerline trail lol. was stuck for 23hours. the only thing that saved me was a kubota tractor.... fun times though

i had a 305 in mine and swapped it with a 350 and you can tell a big difference. but the 305 always got the job done.

had it in D buddy, my motor is only a 5.0 and bogged down on me a bit. I backed up and threw it in second and got the job done. Not my off road truck here, tows my crusher check it out.

Hey thanks for the info on it.. Def a good sounding truck... I had a 4door HD silverado with the 6.0 in it before I got my new silverado.. The 6.0 v-8 is a hell of a powerful motor.. Great for pulling.. That truck never let me down.. Were u lookin into a d-max, or the 6.0 v-8?

you should be able to find an older model d-max.. I saw a 2003 duallie d-max up by me for 24,000. Had 120,000 miles on it, Nice truck too.. Usually they will go for big buck's even used.. If you look around you should be able to find one in your price range.. I would say stay away from first model d-max's.. Thay have had bad injctor problems at first.

I think a mustang 5.0 sounds better then a chevy 5.0 anyday. And run better chevys 5.0 i hate to say it SUCK ASS LOL. Now a 5.7 chevy knocks them all out of the water for best bang for your buck. Thats why everyone uses them =0)
