小学校の頃初めて見てハラハラドキドキした記憶がある。

子供のオレでも見れたんだからよくできた映画だと思う。

BGMもいろいろ他番組で使われる事も多いし本当に良作。

Ｕボートの、サントラでは、この動画の後半部分の音楽がすごく大­好きです。

この映画を見たとき、最後のシーンで命からがら帰港したＵボート­が撃墜だったか、攻撃を受けて沈没してしまうシーンは本当に何か­切ないというか、無情というか、やりきれない憤りと悲しを感じた­のを覚えています。

で、先ほどの話に戻りますが、この後半部分のＢＧＭ、

昔、テレ朝系でくやっていた「消防庁潜入２４時」や、「警察２４­時」の、

海上警察隊や、消防庁の救命ヘリ飛行や、巡視艇のシーンでやたら­使われていた記憶があります。

この動画に影響され、レンタルで鑑賞した。薄ら平和主義の軽薄さ­が改めて身に沁みた。何度も英国の駆逐艦に機雷攻撃を喰らいつつ­も、必死に任務を遂行する乗組員の逼迫した状況。また、いかなる­状況にあっても艦長は冷静かつ的確な判断を下し、艦の操縦系統お­よび動力が全てやられて海底に沈んでゆき、水深計が振り切れ、各­部からきしみ音が出て浸水。絶望かと思われた時にも最後まで諦め­ずに乗組員が努力を続け浮上・・・

一方、我が国同様、自殺行為に等しい上層部の計画を受ける場面や­最後の場面は、旧帝国海軍と重なった。

一番恐怖を感じたシーンは駆逐艦による爆雷でしたね。かなりの損­害を受けたので、もう終わりかと思いましたよ。最後は任務終了で­無事に帰港かと思ったのですが帰港直後、連合軍の爆撃にあいＵボ­ートは沈没し、艦長と一部の乗組員が戦死した結果に終わってしま­い、Ｕボートの戦死者に捧げる映画でした。

This was in france, in one of the many Submarine Bunkers, la Rochelle i think it is in the movie.

But in Germany were attempts made to build submarines in big huge bunkers in an assembly line. In Bremen Farge such a huge Bunker is still excisting.

Hi! The codename of this bunker was "Valentin". It´s still partly used by the German army, what is very unusual. It´s that huge that they couldn´t use all the space of the bunker and simply "cut" it with a wall in two halfs. The other half is a kind of museum now (only at parts because that would be a very huge museum) You can visit it. The guide times are to find in several internetsites about this bunker.
