I was there when they had there 1st free elections in 2004, was there when they annouced the surge in 2007 and was there for 15 months total. I had recently returned from a 12 month deployment to Iraq, I took part of the June 30 parade where the Iraqis regained control of their country. I was in country for a total of 40 months.
