Where are the aliens then? I'm so tired of this silly experiment of what happens when monkeys are put into an artificial environment. The creation myths make so much sense when you start thinking about how the monkey psyche must try to make sense of it all...anyhoo...where can I meet aliens?
Well in reality, the ending of the Mayan calendar depicts nothing other than the end of era. It's ended before and it'll end again. It's a cycle. Though I do wonder why they started in on a date WELL before the Mayan even existed.

There is much missinterpretation towards the ancient art, in some there is a lot of symbolism from the artist view the most are depicting religious themes and some are about real astronomical phenomenons.
On the other part, the image in 1:00 it´s a really bad photo, it´s not an ET, actually it´s only a vase with lotus flowers in a ceremonial scene.
Anyway there are some very interesting pictures, and intriguing like 2:51 or 3:22... What was the inspiration of those artists??

I know also that some popes restricted them even more with no back grounds anymore in the pictures or else they were destroyed.
@215alessio thing is, they weren't there during Christ's crucifixion, so couldn't have seen any UFOs themselves, but that still doesn't mean you can dismiss those paintings because it's interesting why there are spacecrafts depicted on there.
Maybe this "spaceships" are ours..... maybe we in the future will discover how to travel back in time and those are paintings of our selfs traveling into the past and showing people what to do so our world become a better one.......

If one considers the theory that any "aliens" might indeed be us, evolved far enough in the future that we've found a way to travel backward in time, it would circumvent the idea that we perish in such an event, should it happen.

Wow people are very skeptical of UFOs. UFO's are well documented and strange things are sighted in the sky. I myself once saw what looked like a large ball of fire pulsating through the sky at a very slow speed and even changing direction. The object had everyone at the party I was at staring the sky and asking what it was. It basically just about stopped the party. Mysteries are out there right under our noses. In closing any aliens that may have visited us and been spotted by humans traveling in Vehicals...wouldn't be more than a couple thousand years ahead of us at the most. Otherwise they would have much more advanced means of travel and surveillance and quite frankly .. if they were more than 2 or 3000 years ahead of our current technology i can't imagine any use nor interest they would even have in us to begin with. If one considers the theory that any "aliens" might indeed be us, evolved far enough in the future that we've found a way to travel backward in time, it would circumvent the idea that we perish in such an event, should it happen.

@markandrach actually, there's a lot going on. Many countries including Canada, India, Australia, Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Germany and others have opened their UFO files to the public. They were "covered up" for many years. The "alien" presence has been around for centuries. Evidence is not in your controlled newspaper environment. NASA shut down it's live feed from SOHO, as so much activity has been shown on YT recently. They can't deny the pictures -so the shut down the feed!!

Wow people are very skeptical of UFOs. UFO's are well documented and strange things are sighted in the sky. I myself once saw what looked like a large ball of fire pulsating through the sky at a very slow speed and even changing direction. The object had everyone at the party I was at staring the sky and asking what it was. It basically just about stopped the party. Mysteries are out there right under our noses. I do not doubt that ancient people saw these things too.

Some of the things that make a case for actual extra terrestrial beings are the descriptions in old religious texts that sound like primitive impressions of highly advanced technology. Read Leslie Kean's book 'UFO's: Generals pilots and gov officials go on record' sometime if you haven't.

Most of the depictions here are really bad perspective failures of drawing the sun of comets. Some are actually interesting "what if's" but the bulk of these are every day events which happen in the normal sky and are then given religious significance.
