Oh come on, everybody knows that Russia was directly involved in that war. Only naive nationalists would believe otherwise. The Russian dependence has effectively reduced Armenia to a Russian satellite state in the Caucasus, very similar to the way Israel is a US satellite state in the Middle East dependent on the US for its military adventures.

It seems that the leaders of all countries aren't happy unless they're waging war, while regular people are mostly only interested in peace.

Ironically, these leaders couldn't wage war if we wouldn't sign up for their armies and wouldn't go along with their warmongering.

We need a sea change in how citizens think about war, about their fellow man, about politicians and about their own power.

don't be so naive, there was no govt or leader in place when karabagh Armenians began defending themselves against being driven out of their land by Azerbaijan starting in 1988. Those Armenians that fought and died were not fighting for a leader or gov't they were fighting to keep their homes and families alive. This video has gone overboard simplifying the conflict and making it seem like it was all lovie dovie during soviet times. Truth is for 70 years Armenians' rights were oppressed.
