@LHaritonov Wow, many thanks for your quick response! I'm not that proficent in reading cirilic yet, with this i'll be able to sing the song =) . Big hug from Argentina!
I remember as a little girl in England in the 60s seeing the Red Army Choir and dancers on television and wishing I could see them perform live. Oh the fine sound of a male voice choir, with superb solo voices - Yevgeny Belyaev soaring high and Leonid Kharatinov with that Russian bass voice coming as though from the depths of a well
As an aside, it is interesting how the Mongolian influence in Russians shows in both faces of Leonid Kharatinov and Sadaev Kimbazar.
What a great line up of great singers. They are a credit to Mother Russia. The youth of today should look at these fine men and be inspired. Bravo. Bravo
First five on the left: 1. Gres Nikolay 2. Belyaev Yevgeny 3. Didenko Ivan Alexandrovich 4. Shkaptsov Vladimir 5. Bukreev Ivan Semyonovich Another seven on the right: 6. Kharitonov Leonid 7. Kimbazar Sadaev 8. Gerasimov Konstantin Petrovich 9. Sibirtsev Alexandr (soloist of the choir, was just for about ½ year in the choir) 10. Shopenko Boris 11. Sergeev Alexey Tikhonovich 12. Ruslanov Vadim Lvovich
Many thanks for your information ! I have another one question - did they another soloist sing on this concert too, or at the end only? Maybe is this video incomplete...there played Lasar Berman on the piano B.Alexandrov´s Fantasy.
In chorus I noticed young Vasilij Stefutca, he started in Ensemle, I think, just in 1965.
ID: The left hand row of 5 soloists has Nic Gres first left, and Belyaev second left. The right hand row of soloists has Kharitonov at the left end. And of course don't miss Nikitin in front row of chorus, 7th from left. Nic Abramov and Sergeev also somewhere in chorus.
I cant find this song on the official website = (
Where can i download this masterpiece!?

Well, I believe those lovely high oriental cheekbones are good for a singer's resonance... !
(I believe you are Mr. Kharitonov 's son but I've just noticed you sign yourself 'Haritonov' ?)
Thankyou for your kind replies and I shall respond when I watch the video tonight

Another version of lyrics at the second:
По ленинским мудрым заветам - Our great people lives,
Живет наш великий народ. - guided by the wise Leninist precepts,
Дорогою счастья и света - on the road of happiness and light.
Нас партия твердо ведет. - the party solidly leads us
