Conan the barbarian is one of the best movies ever made because of the way it is portrayed , the feeling, atmosphere is just perfect because everyone cast is cast perfectly.

Even though Arnold can't talk english well, isn't a Shakespearean actor and other factors don't matter because hes a fucking barbarian!

I don't have a top 10 but this is definitely one of my favorite movies because you just get sucked into it.

This is actually a montage of me taking an exam in graduate school. You can see me study for the first 55 seconds, then I head to the classroom until 1:21, where I review my notes until 1:36. Finally, the exam is handed out, and I fuck it up. At 2:10, I finish, and I find out I passed at 2:25.

In the books he can kill demons but in the movie he runs from a few wolves. He then fumbles into a cave where he finds an ugly small overweighted wall hanging sword. now with his over sized dagger he is no longer a pussy n can fight the wolves. Which we don't get to see. For some reason his master taught him how to skin animals n turn their hide into clothing. DUH

I don´t understand, why some of you compare this old legendary film with the Dark Knight.

I liked DK, when saw it on DVD, as I like many other films.

But these two films are totally something else.

And there is one big difference between them. Conan is still popular, after almost thirty years. I wonder, if anyone will remember the DK after 30 years. We shall see.

In any case, this is a very good film, I even like Shwarzenegger in it and I don´t like him in many movies. Great soundtrack.

This movie got 1.5 stars out of 5 when it came out, same as another oldie favorite of mine - The Thing, with Kurt Russell. Now they are considered classic, as they should be.
