Clark is the MAN..great guy and awesome teacher...young as well. I see him at the very top one day...lol @ some dude saying he taps Clark and he's not strong haha
@realboltfan Yeah Clark told me the story. The only one he thinks it could have been was some big white belt wrestling lomix that rolled no gi with him and he was going light on him because he didn't want to hurt the guy his first day and was more teaching then rolling. The guy went for some can opener so Clark turned up the juice and he never showed up again but hes been telling people he tapped him or something.
Clark is a great teacher and mentor. For another individual to attempt to demean him, with a false sense of bravado, is clearly childish. Why attempt to belittle an individual whom has devoted his life to the sport? Is that in keeping in the spirit of the art? If gregory is so strong, why does he feel he needs to prove a point? Grow up....
Even though clark lost this one I still think he is a great fighter, he is a better jiu jitsu teacher than about 95% of the brown and black belts anywhere in the U.S., and he is a good friend too. to say he is not strong is unfair, he is not exactly a big guy, he just dosen't try to use retard strength like all these MMA no gi grapplers. he has all the right moves and totally deserves to be a black belt.
Not really strong?! ;) Look at his record dude. For the last 4 years he's been winning tens of impressive medals, the latest being 2nd Place No Gi Worlds 2007 and he's the 2009 Grapplers Quest Champion.
you gotta be some kind of super blackbelt or you did it when he was still really young because hes not easy to beat. I get tapped by him all the time. Congrats if you are that good. Are you the same weight and division?
@billysue2 i know who rodrigo is. So i spelled his name wrong. I'm not part of BJJ Revolution. I'm part of Gracie Humita under Eduardo Rocha. Clark and I are just old friends because i trained under Carley Gracie back in the day. And back in those days Clark trained with us in San Francisco.
Say what! It's ridiculous to say that Clark Gracie in not strong! Clark war born in the Gi being the son of Carley Gracie 8th degree Red-and-Black Belt and Brazilian National Champion from 1969-1972. And Clark has won many great victories over the last years. And still continues to do so. I think he's still well under thirty. 25 or something.
Your antipathy towards Clark is rather childish. What is the point of your capped locks, absurd comment? Why waste time demeaning someone who has devoted their life to bjj? Is that the true spirit of the art? Grow up...
Yeah I was. I know Clark and trained with him and hes caught Mario Reis in practice but then again you don't go on plane across the world to compete in the pan ams unless you're confident in your skills. I think he won the whole thing.
Gunnar trains a lot with Kenny Baker from England. High level Brown belt

Gunnar's double leg takedown at 0:54 made it to the official disk highlights. And so did this match.
