"May The Good Lord Bless And Keep You" was written and dedicated to Tallulah Bankhead for her popular Radio show, "The Big Show"(1950-52) on NBC by Meredith Willson, who later wrote "The Music Man". How lucky Tallulah Bankhead was to have such a meaningful song approved for her closing song on her Radio Show at each shows end, and each guest singing a line from the song. Miss Bankhead likened it to a Hymn. Glad to know such sentiments are still with us these days!
