FINALLY! I learned this song when an older sibling brought home the 45, I guess about 5 years old. Though I tried to sing the song for each of them (once grown), nobody seemed to remember but me. so since then, i just carried it around, for almost 40 years. I thought it might have been the dirt band, but couldn't remember the artist! Thanks for the "time machine", 40 years later, I still remember those days as best!

Thanks so much for sharing this rare and original oldie. I was 10 years old when my sister and I used to play this 45. Since then, it has fallen into obscurity, and is unavailable. I have the instrumental version, and have heard the remake Frank Mills has on his "Best of" album. It's just not the same. Don't know what ever happened to our 45, but remember it well. Thanks again for making this sweet song available for others to relive.

He was with the Bells and played piano on their North American hit "Stay Awhile". Also his keyboard performance on their song "Fly Little White Dove" is quite good!

Incidentally, as a vocalist he did a remake of Ricky Nelson's "Poor Little Fool" that got a lot of airplay on Canadian radio.
