I've watched Skins right from the first episode all the way through to Season 5, but 1st generation will always be my favourite. Even when Season 3-4 started, I was still gutted about the first two seasons. Nothing can match these characters.

I started watching Skins when series 3 started, and I absolutely loved it and always defended the second generation in these arguments which generation is better. I finally got around to watch series 1 and 2, and they are just so much better. Don't get me wrong, the second generation is awesome (especially when comparing them to the 3rd one), but the first two series' blew my mind. really hope there will be a movie with these characters, maxxie and anwar meeting emily and naomi should be funny^^

@lora2708 well alott of tv shows have had a bad season then come back really good just look at blackadder. i can't understand why everyone hates season 5 i like it. i used to hate US skins but after arguing with an american guy for a wile i suggested that he watch the UK version and i watch the US one. now he says he likes the UK one more but i quite enjoyed the US one for what it was. im just a general skins fan, ive loved every second of it.

@Daleksaresupreme1 yeah I think series 5 is a really good series too. It's the first series where I've really felt a strong connection with the majority of the characters, not just a couple of them. The American remake doesn't look good. I've heard it gets better as the series progresses but since I can't find any episodes that don't stop after ten minutes I can't really comment :-)
