"A LOT of RUM!" Haha! Yeah! If you go to the bars in DC, stay away from the guys who drink lime beer. Haha! They're almost all law students or suites themselves. (Assholes if you will) I will in a small town and even i run into this a lot. So i can only imagine what it'd be like in DC.
I saw the ruby slippers when I was in DC and I thought they looked....old. I think the thing that surprised me the most about DC was how close to each other every thing was, I think we walked almost every where. Things that stand out in my mind from that trip, Arlington National Cemetery, The Library of Congress, The Lincoln Memorial and The Smithsonian.
@tjport1980 It's funny you mention that. I noticed they were not as bright and sparkly as they were in the movie as well, but then it has been 70 years. Yes everything is very walkable! Guess that's why DC is consider one of America's most active cities!
