This is probably sung in Lingala, one of the major languages spoken in the Congos. There are also lyrics in French, and references to New York and New Jersey...can anyone elsbute fill us in on the lyrics? I think the song is talking about the music itself but I'm not sure....can anyone tell me where the lyrics are?
I have had this CD along time and have enjoyed it. Thank you for posting this great song.

I'm not a native speaker of Lingala, I wish I could understand better.
He seems to talk about a woman (Adama Coly, or Adama "La Senegalaise").
At 4:17 he's saying in Lingala "tobina salsa na Quatre Etoiles" (let's dance salsa with Les Quatre Etoiles)
At 4:14 / 4:37 I can hear "bolingo ... ngai na motema" "love. ??.. me in the heart".
I absolutely love this song from 4:02!
