I know exactly how you where feeling, I had dreads for 6 years and cut them and I didn´t really know how I felt about it, it was so strange and kind of wrong...then I grew again för 3 years, and cut again...now I am growing again since 1 year back and will never cut again, I am through with cutting it off no matter what! The reason I cut them off the first time was an important court date and I would go to prison if I looked like I did, and the second time was because of neck injury, whiplash:(

A few people seem to be confused. I cut my hair after months of serious consideration and I have absolutely loved having short hair for the first time in almost 2 decades. Don't delude yourselves, my wife was kindly doing what I asked her to do. She was afraid in fact that people would think it was her doing! There is no "delilah", no evil wife . The spirit of locks surely is tied up, paradoxically, with freedom and natural living - both of which I embrace more than ever. Peace and love.
