so many scientific inaccuracies in Deep Impact. There's no way anyone would be able to out run a mega tsunami that size. The air pressure generated from the surge would destroy civilization before the wave did. Theat type of wave also DOES NOT break on the shore, but the ENTIRE WAVE is drawn up onto the shore and demolishes everything in its path. Those people would have had to climb a mountain to be able to escape that wave, because the wave is probably about 10,000 + KM high!

The airflow would be like the strongest hurricane u could imagine with winds faster then the speed of sound, blowing ppl and animals way, and demolishing most of the buildings. These winds would on their own probably rise waves above 100 metres with massive destructive power. So when the big tidal wave would arrive wouldnt find much left to destroy and kill tbh.

i HATE deep impact. i LOVE armageddon. they may have come out the same year and be based on the same story but there is just no comparison in the two. armageddon has a great set of actors (bruce willis is the best) and has one of the best scores for any movie, while deep impact is the opposite. the actors suck and theres pretty much no score. ARMAGEDDON IS AMAZING!
