  • Great video mate, would be good having the names of all the artists featured while their on screen so I can see if theirs anybody new to me. I love the 60's and the 70's but even after years of listening to the era I still find every now-and-again that I find something I've not heard before. Their really is nothing better than finding an absolute gem that's been out for decades but you've still not heard, one that really speaks to you.

  • Leave the sinking ship behind!

The Captains-Law-on-the-sea should be the law in Belgium!

  • 剛腕直球勝負のクリーデンス~猛烈ヴォーカルに、弾き跳ぶギター、ジョン・フォガティーの頑固なロックンロール"Up Around The Bend"

  • I can't remember the woman's name at the end.

  • @link71711 Janis Joplin

  • 100%

  • i like how they have Jim Morrison at the 1min mark :3

  • CrestFilms, you did a very very nice job putting all these old film clips together. It even looked like the J5 and Janis Joplin was dancing to the song. LOL. Anyway, thanks so much for such a nice video. It's the best video on YouTube for this song.

  • this song should have easily over 1million of views

  • classic "ski resort" music! One time I was at Casper Restaurant at Jackson Hole ski resort and they played music loudly...and this is one of the songs I heard there! Not to mention I heard the song Fortunate Son in the aerial tram on the way to the top!

  • 2 dislikes -_- really go suck a dick and iam 15 going to be 16 this is what i call real music!!!

  • @loser8075 Yeah those two dislikes rather hear Rebecca Black's Friday or some Justin Bieber's songs. I don't really have opinion on those but "real music" is a LOT better!

  • @NHRHS2010 yeah i feel you :)

  • that was very good Rockmusic and 40 years after Woodstock still an earworm, .... regards from Lima

  • One of the greatest songs ever!

  • A great song indeed! But doesn't it just remind you of the movie "REMEMBER THE TITANS" and at the perfect scene during the season montage too!!A good movie, great actor in Denzel Washington and a great all American song too!!

  • Precisely! :)

  • @bunkofurko, actually Creedence music was born from the South, even if the band wasn't. They were inspired by old country, blues and rockabilly artists of the South. CCR would sing about the South and would inspire such groups as Skynyrd. So it has a little something to do with the South.

  • I knew that but you still got my point right??It's just a really great song that really shows a great all AMERICAN band and it was so the right song in the right moment in the movie "REMEMBER THE TITANS" a great feel good movie partnered with a awesome feel good song indeed!!Please reply!

  • @bunkofurko Spanish is the second language in the world. Y si tu no entiendes pues mala suerte.

Being a racist is not good for health!

  • Now here is some great southern ROCK!!Too bad it's all gone by now!!

I love this music age and this great band :-) sorry for my english

  • @higensan Your English is just Fine. I like this music too, This was my era, my music.

  • @higensan It's okay, don't mind your english. When talking about good music we ALL speak the same language.

  • keith killin' them drums

  • When white people smoke weed it creates peace, love and happiness like at Woodstock

When black people smoke weed it starts rap music and the gangsta trend

  • there were black people at woodstock you ignorant fuck. Look at the set-list of woodstock JIMI HENDRIX...ring a bell? hes black, hes smoked more weed than you will in your entire life and created better music than you ever will.

  • it was a joke

  • Fantastic Memories from Summer 1970

  • One of the best songs of CCR with this legendary guitar riff at the beginning!

  • THANKS karina ! VERY MUCH !

  • i know tis by far the best song in the freaking world

  • You obviously dont get out much. This is a good song, but far from the best.

  • summer 1970 the best time of my live this song is my alltime fave from ccr thanxxxxxx john

  • trop fort !! j'adooOOoore !!

  • Could have done without the jackson five and that dance MJ was doing?

  • you could have done without an important part of american music's history?

  • jerry donahue should cover this song..

  • it proves ccr credit a place in history all great bands you have focused on but one of the best in my opinion you give the lead music too well done mate

  • Great intro

  • again, I must say your video is amazing. And you did a good job editing. The shots fit really well with the music.

  • This is a great song from a great era. Bring back woodstock. Now there really isn't any good music. All there is now is that stupid rap. Rap is Crap. What happened to good bands like Zeppelin. And why in the hell did John Lennon have to die. Well as always...Give Peace a Chance.

  • @kolton15 WOODSTOCK did come back but in 1999 Corporations destroyed it by having WOODSTOCK'99 and people got drunk and angry and started to fuck up everything!!It was such a horrible thing to witness(I know, cause I was so there!).It was so fucking amazing to see before people fucked it all up,if it does come back it would be a real miracle and especially if Corporate America doesn't fuck it up again!!Please reply!

  • @marsan079 100% Agree'd. Fuck the corporate's trying to run of the ideas of the real people! Fuck the system man, only ruins life.

  • CCR--incredible, I wish I could have experienced the sixties :(

  • remember summer 70 ccr top hit .good times

  • Thanks for SHARE!!! Great videos and music!

  • what an amazing tribute to an amazing era...wish i was around then to witness the best music ever performed.

  • At 2:02 it looks like Aunt Ester from Sanford an Son.Anybody else agree? Though its probably not, Aunt Ester.

  • It's Aretha Franklin

  • Nope, not Up and around the bend, it came out in the summer of 1970 . What a time in life . I know there were bad times then just like there are now. The music was a lot better then . Times were alot more semple then oh and gas was like 28 cents a gal.

  • I wish I lived through the sixteys. That was the best part of the 20th century.

  • You've got your chance to make the same sort of changes we pushed for in the 60's and 70's Peps. Now is the time. Go for what you believe in. Do it.

  • Excellent video made me cry wish I was born earlier.

  • me too :(

  • Who are the musicians at 1:11 and 1:49? Everyone else I've figured out.

  • 1:11 - Levon Helm on drums leading The Band

    1:49 - Kenny Rogers

  • I thought so. Thank you. By the way this is an excellent video.

  • What songs are the musicians singing in their clips? I wanna see if I can find them. If you can't tell me its fine.

  • Thanks. I did this video in 1987 as part of a class reunion piece. The original clips are long gone so I couldn't begin to guess what they were singing now. Sorry.

  • Don't worry about. But thanks anyway. I enjoy watching this video and I enjoy that generation of music.

  • @johnhamilton08 I think that much of the footage is from the woodstock festival. woodstock is available as a movie

  • Yep. they played at Woodstock 69, but not Up around the Bend.

  • CCR played at Woodstock -as I'm sure you know - but John decided the band did not want to be part of it when it came to be released as a film. Big mistake in some ways but Creedence still rank up there as one of the best and most influential bands of all time.
