Great video mate, would be good having the names of all the artists featured while their on screen so I can see if theirs anybody new to me. I love the 60's and the 70's but even after years of listening to the era I still find every now-and-again that I find something I've not heard before. Their really is nothing better than finding an absolute gem that's been out for decades but you've still not heard, one that really speaks to you.
CrestFilms, you did a very very nice job putting all these old film clips together. It even looked like the J5 and Janis Joplin was dancing to the song. LOL. Anyway, thanks so much for such a nice video. It's the best video on YouTube for this song.
classic "ski resort" music! One time I was at Casper Restaurant at Jackson Hole ski resort and they played music loudly...and this is one of the songs I heard there! Not to mention I heard the song Fortunate Son in the aerial tram on the way to the top!
@loser8075 Yeah those two dislikes rather hear Rebecca Black's Friday or some Justin Bieber's songs. I don't really have opinion on those but "real music" is a LOT better!
<3 Long live rock n roll....back when music made sense....lyrics told a story....melody made a difference...back before technology could make someone who cant sing worth a lick sound good! Natural talent....nothing better!!!!
i have memories of my childhood that everytime my mom put on the radio almost always was this song, i have known this song for all my life and until 3 years ago i could learn the title, im 18 years old.
A great song indeed! But doesn't it just remind you of the movie "REMEMBER THE TITANS" and at the perfect scene during the season montage too!!A good movie, great actor in Denzel Washington and a great all American song too!!
The way I heard, in the countries where they speak some Spanish, most people cannot even READ or WRITE properly, wherteas in Engish-speaking countries.

@bunkofurko, actually Creedence music was born from the South, even if the band wasn't. They were inspired by old country, blues and rockabilly artists of the South. CCR would sing about the South and would inspire such groups as Skynyrd. So it has a little something to do with the South.
I knew that but you still got my point right??It's just a really great song that really shows a great all AMERICAN band and it was so the right song in the right moment in the movie "REMEMBER THE TITANS" a great feel good movie partnered with a awesome feel good song indeed!!Please reply!
there were black people at woodstock you ignorant fuck. Look at the set-list of woodstock JIMI HENDRIX...ring a bell? hes black, hes smoked more weed than you will in your entire life and created better music than you ever will.

it proves ccr credit a place in history all great bands you have focused on but one of the best in my opinion you give the lead music too well done mate
This is a great song from a great era. Bring back woodstock. Now there really isn't any good music. All there is now is that stupid rap. Rap is Crap. What happened to good bands like Zeppelin. And why in the hell did John Lennon have to die. Well as always...Give Peace a Chance.
@kolton15 WOODSTOCK did come back but in 1999 Corporations destroyed it by having WOODSTOCK'99 and people got drunk and angry and started to fuck up everything!!It was such a horrible thing to witness(I know, cause I was so there!).It was so fucking amazing to see before people fucked it all up,if it does come back it would be a real miracle and especially if Corporate America doesn't fuck it up again!!Please reply!
Nope, not Up and around the bend, it came out in the summer of 1970 . What a time in life . I know there were bad times then just like there are now. The music was a lot better then . Times were alot more semple then oh and gas was like 28 cents a gal.
Thanks. I did this video in 1987 as part of a class reunion piece. The original clips are long gone so I couldn't begin to guess what they were singing now. Sorry.
CCR played at Woodstock -as I'm sure you know - but John decided the band did not want to be part of it when it came to be released as a film. Big mistake in some ways but Creedence still rank up there as one of the best and most influential bands of all time.
