  • very beautiful capture.....

  • Is that a Nathan M5?

  • @jadog31 Nathan P5

  • Nice to see those Bethgons coming out of storage.

  • Awesome video Chris! Excellent light and great hearing the sound of 567's and old Cast P5's together.

  • Great video and what a great old casting P5 the lead unit in this video has. It's a shame that most of these units are gone now. At least some of these old casting P5's have found their place in some collections and things like that.

  • @beauloftis1976 I agree with you I have one of these old cast P5 horns that sounds simular to this off the NS from a former Southern unit I have debated for years about mounting it on my truck but i may end up buying a newcast one that comes complete in the horn kits and save mine from possibly being stolen

  • Great video and lashup.

  • I caught a video of SOO 700 in Duluth, I'll send it to you!

  • You are correct the 193 and 700 belong to the LSRM, however the 316 belongs to the Missabe Railroad Historical Society. It is stored at the museum and is used on the North Shore Scenic Railroad when the museum is power short.

  • At 3:09 a van ran the crossing! and the train was in plane sight!

  • great video

  • Great stuff, Chris!

  • Awesome! I hope to get up there one of these days and fan em' again! Great job and horn!

  • Another rail fan at about the 1:20 mark in the background in the red truck? Hmm, no arms at the crossing at about the 3:20 mark, looks like some of the drivers were in a hurry to get over those tracks to avoid the train....Great vid Chris!

  • Those ditch lights were flashing like crazy! Damn sweet though!

  • Great video and action, love the horns!

  • Good signs of Economic Improvement!

Nice lashup! don't you just wish all coal trains had stuff like that!

  • Awesome locations & shots!

  • awesome. i heard this was going to take place. glad you caught it. 5* and a fav.

  • great video. It's nice to see railcars with NO graffiti on them & looking like new.

Do all the locomotives belong to the Lake Superior Trans Museum??

  • Well, The 700 and the 193 do, but the 316, I HEARD, is on loan from someone. I will have to check to see who it is.

  • wow!that is amzing! sweet how they saves those locos and didnt wreck them by patchin or w.e

  • I cannot tell you how amazing this is....you are so lucky to get the couple few SDMs still in Missabe paint since CN bought them out. Amazing catch and the start-up was great!

  • Max I have a picture of me on 193 lol

  • Nice start up sounds!

  • That was very nice. Thank you.

  • awesome
