Poor wolves, they have been protected for so many years in Yellowstone and now ppeople just start to kill them out to save ELK. There is elk all across the world! Why do you need to save them! Why do you need to kill the wolves?

I know of a story in Idaho where a man put down a wolf that attacked his 3 year old daughter. This I can understand. Wolves aren't going extinct, in fact the Grey wolf is listed under least concern by the ESA. Wolves are overpopulating in places like Alaska and Idaho, they need to be culled.
What about the red wolf? That's a wolf and it's endangered. Besides, there's overpopulation of people in many places around the world and they don't get shot for existing. That is because humans are above animals, we always will be. We are the only ones to care enough about other animals to try and save them. Do you see animals trying to cure diseases like cancer? Animals don't make those things because they live off basic instinct and instinct does not provide an instruction manual on how to build a car. Those are human things. There are about:
150,000 grey wolves, 500 Abyssinian Wolves, and 250 Red Wolves, world wide that is.
I don't think wolves will die any time soon, but it is unfair that people hunt them. The same with all the other creatures that are getting close to extinction.

Wolves aren't going extinct, in fact the Grey wolf is listed under least concern by the ESA. Wolves are overpopulating in places like Alaska and Idaho, they need to be culled.

All I'm saying is that as humans we have a certain responsibility and considering how supposedly great we are we still choose to walk all over anything else with a pulse. Animals don't make those things because they live off basic instinct and instinct does not provide an instruction manual on how to build a car. Those are human things. It's sad how animals are defined by you as only equal to us if they're EXACTLY like us. They don't have to be exactly like us; I just want them to take the time to care about another species of animal besides their species or themselves before I'll begin to consider them equal. Not only that; but we also have a set of morals that wolves and others do not.
A wolf would never think that because wolves have a very low chance bringing down elk alone without a pack.

I'm not saying we're not smarter or we haven't done all those things but the kind of cruelty we're capable of, a kind no other animal does, makes all our achievements kind of irrelivent. If a day comes when animals can plan and imagine then they'll be above us but right now, they physically can't. It just isn't possible which is why all the human things remain a mystery to them.

They have no need to evolve, science says that there are only 10,000 beings in this entire universe that are remotely intelligent. Wolves will not be entirely killed off, they have a population of 200,000. Wolves will rip the fetus out of a mother deer giving birth, dolphin males will kill foals, orangutans will start war and gang rape, this is normal behavior for them, but is not normal behavior for a human do these sort of things. We try to clean up our mess, they do not.

Not really, considering we've invented weapons of mass destruction, enough that we could completely destroy the world if we wanted too. Humans are pack animals as well, they would see us as very loving parents and respectful to our members, they would, however, probably be curious as to why the woman does not hunt.

I agree, I am completely against animal abuse and animal cruelty, they do deserve respect. However they are animals, and I think we should be allowed to eat and hunt them (if not endangered), just like how they eat and hunt. I'm for animal welfare but not for animal rights.

With SO MANY people shooting and killing these "savages" they dont understand what they are causing. My grandpa found this cub next to its mother who had been shot down next to the montana river.
