you need at least 200mg of trazodone for a good sedative effect, you can rise this to 400mg or even 600mg, but you'll never be completely awake the day after, diphenhydramine or gabapentin will potentialize it when needed

You misread that LD50 for doxylamine succinate, Leather. It said the LD50 was 50–500 mg of doxylamine PER kilogram of body mass in humans. Median lethal doses are given in milligrams of a substance per kilogram of body mass. I have taken 550 mg of Doxylamine succinate, and I weigh 150 lbs.

I passed out on a neighbours couch, had one of the most fucked up dreams I ever had (I dreamed I was in hell,) and all day the next day I felt as though I had been poisoned; I couldn't think straight, solve basic math equations or even walk around without nearly falling over. Ambien has almost an exact 1 for 1 cross tolerance with tamazapam and clanazapam. The only 4 times taken xaxax I took the whole bar and felt nothing because I take ambien. Phenobarbital doesnt do anything to me either but ambien works safe and good enough that I dont plan to find out what my tolerance for barbiturates is. After taking ambien for years i can say it doesnt have a cross tolerance with beer which is suppose to work in a similar way.

The few barbiturates that I have used which do not include seconol still pale in sleep promoting effects per prescription dose to ambien.
