  • Hendry is so boring!

  • Sooooooo Borringg

  • hendry looks younger than ronnie although he is 7 years older than ronnie.

    hendry is the golden kid!

  • EVERYBODY IS A FUCKING WANKER!!!

And yes...........if your reading this then your a nob!!!

  • hendry is still a monster, he'll be back for another World Title. it"s in the head

  • back in the days when hendry missed nothing

  • whirlwind white?, hurrican higgins? "the nugget" ?snooker legends!!!!!. Ronnie o'sullivans just an attention seeking wee rat , im sick of the wee runt threatening to quit just "do it" ronald your a fanny. Remember the quote you made about Stepehen Hendry? about how your gonnae send him "hame" to his sad little life in scotland well he turned you over big style ya fud everycunts sick of your whinging. Hendry dwarfs you wee baws!!!!!!!

  • i love ronnie just like i love celtic fc, however real madrid and brazil are the greatest teams of all time because they have won the most european/world cups. in conclusion despite ronnies raw skills stephen hendry is the greatest player ever to have picked up a cue...

  • yeah but remembr this hendry when he played doherty in the 95 uk final made 7 century breaks in that final and it was ten to win it he was a true class act in his prime i dont think the standard of snooker has got better i just think its alot more boring

  • stephen hendry (back then) could only lose by bad luck i.e. perfect cannon from blue to pink/reds and a red went in.

  • If u need confirmation than Ronnies a genuis this match is it. He is 17 unbelievable. Ronnie has never tried as hard or wanted to win more than in this match. Shame he couldn't of kept it up. He still won tournaments but i like his professionalism and focus here

  • Stephen Hendry is one of the most successful players in the game, regardless whether the opposition weren't the greatest, he still had to beat them.

  • well maybe if you weren't stupid enough to post on a video of a championship where he loses 6-10, you might actually make some sense.

  • ronnie's cue action has changed alot since then.

  • The overall Head to Head stands at 36-23 o'Sullivan as of 2009

  • you know you can stop looking at those stats of yours and just watch the game, if you can understand the game as much as a mentally retarded turtle you can tell whos better...

  • f***? bs?? what are you,10?

  • stats, stats, stats... man do you even fucking play the game? if you do than you can easily see whats what and you wont judge them with those stats... stephen hendry is a perfect snooker player... and him being good had nothing to do with players being bad in his time... as i said if you play the game you can see why he won all does titles...

  • If he was the perfect snooker player, his head to head wouldn't be vastly inferior to O'Sullivan's, nor would his break building stats be inferior on average.

I don't debate with people like you anymore, already you have come into this debate and called people names, as a substitute for your lack of understanding and open mindedness.

Don't reply to him Arbirage. He is a bigot.

  • I find it very funny that the only players you mention are drunk has been stars and one who cannot get it done right now.

Who in their right mind just up and QUITS in the middle of a match? That would be your IDOL Ronnie.

I bet Ronnie doesn't win shit this year.

  • Ronnie will never win as many World titles as Stephen. He will also never, as nobody else will either, approach Stephen's record of over 700 century breaks in competition.

    OVER 700 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Stephen might do another 700 century but he will never able to be equal to ronnie in terms of flair and brilliance ronnie produces on a snooker table. Alex higgins and jimmy white are the same kind of ronnie when they took the snooker as the number 1 TV sports leaving behind football !! their charismatic style made people watch snooker and motivate the young stars to play snooker. Those robotic potting machine like davis , hendry bags some trophy and money and leave the bored audience behind

  • O'Sullivan will never have the easier opposition that Hendry did from 89-96, so no player will be beating 7. However. Will hendry beat Joe Davis and his 13?

    haha . no.

  • Joe davis has 15. Correction.

  • i agree with you. hendry won 4 of his 7 world titles beating jimmy white and peter ebdon and nigel bond were hardly world beaters.

  • Ronnie has 597 century breaks , Hendry has 747 , but Ronnie's average is better. Hendry has been playing 7 years longer so if Hendry stops playing new and Ronnie keeps on playing for another 7 years he will have more.

Plus Ronnie has never been as " obsessed" with winning as Hendry was.

In the 90 - 96 period Hendry didn't have much competition apart from Jimmy White ocasionally .That's why he has won so much. It's far harder for a person to dominate nowadays due to the standard of the game.

  • @bogdychamp good luck trying to make others accept that basic truth

  • @bogdychamp the standard wasn't lower then than it is now, its just that hendry was far better than everyone else he single handedly raised the standard of snooker forever so the reason the standard is good now is cus of him, Fact.

  • @ShedRule1 If Hendry would be 20 again today he wouldn't be able to win 7 world titles.

  • @ShedRule1 If Hendry would be 20 years old again today , he wouldn't be able to win 7 world titles.

  • @ShedRule1 If Hendry would be 20 years old today , he wouldn't be able to win 7 world titles.

  • @bogdychamp i beg to differ my friend :)

  • @ShedRule1 give me your arguments. Like i said Ronnie is the best , Hendry can bow down to him.

  • @bogdychamp a players greatness isn't define by how many people admire him, its by how much he wins, so ronnie is still miles behind stephen and he loves being labelled the "troubled genius" where as stephen dedicated his life to snooker and being the greatest ever is the result

  • @ShedRule1 a player's greatness isn't defined by how much he wins. Hendry's numbers only proove he was obsessed with winning. Ronnie doesn't have the drive Hendry had, that is why he hasn't won as much or more. Like I said before, snooker in the 90's wasn't at such a high standard as it is nowadays.Ronnie at his best is better than Hendry at his best, therefore Ronnie is the greatest ever.

  • @bogdychamp precisely, and the telling fact is that Jimmy White made 5 consecutive world finals 1990-1994. Can you really imagine 2 players making the final so many times? The only one Hendry missed out on was 1991, from 1990 to 1996.

  • @DLPBurke nowadays I mean... It just won't happen anymore because the standard is so much higher. Ronnie holds a positive H2H over Hendry including 9-4 in finals.

  • Comment removed

  • @bogdychamp he did, as he said ronnie is the world best snooker player by a country mile

  • @ShedRule1 So why did Jimmy White make 5 consecutive world finals 1990-94?

  • @DLPBurke he made five in a row and lost 5 in a row while stephen won 7, hendry had the ability to close out a match while white always collapsed when it mattered.

  • yea thts right.just enjoy playing snooker all the time~

  • stop fcking arguing about hendry and sullivan lets just say they are both fking good shut the hell up and just watch the game. oh they are also better than ull ever be in ur entire life.

  • An exercise in fruition? Holy fuck you're stupid. That's right run along with your tail between your legs after being exposed for the lying schmuck you are. in every other sport you rate a player on success. Snooker is only different when its gauged by an O'sullivan fan. When it comes to stats, close to double the tournament victories says it all.

  • Hendry won a ranking torunament as late as 2005, go check your shitty facts. don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.

  • yes malta (i dont think ronnie bothered to go to it though so that is moot)

Hendry hasnt won a uk or a masters since 96, age 27

  • i agree again with you. the 1999 world title only papered over the cracks in hendrys game after 1996. itll be interesting to see if hendry can ever reach a uk final again at the age of 47 like steve davis did. plus davis won 6 uk titles to hendrys 5.

  • If you look at wikipedia, it has a nice table there showing Hendry's major trend, and that 1999 looks way out of place. He was still in his prime in 97-02 so why wasn't he winning like 89-96? I will tell you why: Higgins, Doherty, Williams, Hunter, O'Sullivan

  • absolutely right, the number of pro players quickly increased during the late 90s. hendry may always have teh most titles but i think Ronnie and Higgins are better than hendry ever was cuz they have like 20 opponents who are all fuckin good and can win a tournament while hendry in his prime had virtually no one except an occasional white. today we have williams, roberston, junhui, carter, murphy, ebdon, doherty, maguire, and many many more and ronnie and john still managed to get 3 WC titles

  • @Devilfish6666 not just that O'Sullivan has so far managed 4 Masters and 4 UK, and that isn't far behind Hendry who hasn't won a major since age 27 in 1996. Even Williams has managed to just win another rank title. I think Hendry is the 2nd best player but he is hyped WAY over his actual ability.

  • @DLPBurke ''hyped way WAY over his actual ability''...wtf? The man has won 7 world titles and has more century breaks than any player in history - FACT not hype

    English prick

  • @SaltireBlaze2 yes more centuries, because he has played far more frames than O'Sullivan and they were against weaker opposition in his early days. Same with his titles.

  • @DLPBurke Hendry's the greatest (even O'Sullivan has said as much in the past),it's about time you showed the great man some respsect regardless of when his titles/centuries were made. At his peak he was a break building machine like no other - simple

  • Ronnie won 10-6... oh yeah, pure thrashing numbnuts.

  • Obviously he didn't win every single game he played, I never said he did. When it came to the big tournaments he brought his A game. And much more often than what was done to him, he crushed the other player. The stats speak for themselves.

  • I know Hendry lost this, I never said he won it. Everybody with a shred of integrity knows that after 99 Hendrys form dipped. After reaching a 7th world, the hunger that made him so unstoppable was quenched. The facts speak for themselves, and when they don't, the other players do, and they all say Hendry is the greatest, INCLUDING RONNIE.

  • give it a rest will ya,their both great players, end of story.

  • hendry most successful player ever, such a steady consistent player whos break building was awesome. ronnie has the ability to get the audience on the edge of their seats, the way he plays is just a god given talent. there are those who will say ronnie ia two handed genius and the best ever player and those who will look at the trophy cabinet of hendry and make him out to be the best ever but its hard to say really. They are two of the greatest players ever to play the game - fact.

  • @hooowaaaaaa love the fact that you admit trophys arent everything talent doesnt always imply a win

  • @hooowaaaaaa i agree totally fair comment

  • @hooowaaaaaa id go with that.

  • @hooowaaaaaa ronnie has the greatest ability, but doesnt have the mental strength that hendry has

  • Hendry was very unlucky

  • no, he was very lucky because ronnie higgins and williams were not around to sort him out in 1989-96 where he won loads from nobodies

  • i wouldnt call steve davis, jimmy white nobodies... ronnie wasnt bad either then, Ken Doherty????

  • ronnie wasn't around? This is 93 you dumb twat. Hendry smashed ronnie, higgins, and williams all the way through to the end of the 90s.

  • Comment removed

  • "not around" meant "not in his prime" or "at his peak"

By the way, ronnies last masters win was at age 33 in 2009. hendrys age 27 in 1996

    Hmmmm yes, the great hendry!

  • All you've got is excuses. O'sullivan must be disgusted by how his fans try twist facts with their blind bias and their sycophantic ways. No wonder the guy gets depressed now and again. The reality is, nobody is playing better snooker than when Hendry was dominating. In general there are more above average players, but beside the old guns there is nobody in the top 16 that is as great as Hendry was, or as O'sullivan can be, that's why none of them have won more than a handful of tournaments.

  • nobodies??? you need help mate...

  • Stephen was unlucky to pot a red after splitting the pack off the blue, otherwise it would have been 1-1 not 2-0.

  • hendry thought he would win, after excellent performance against john parrott in semi final

  • awesome talent thanx for uploading pal

  • Yeah Hendry is a pretty talented guy.

  • he was so young in these days lol ... thank you for sharing!!!
