nice one. nice job on upgrading yours, i'd never be able to pull that off on my UTG AK-74 limited edition :(. Good gun, mine shoots 320 stock, its broke right now. i need to get a new battery and get a new butt plate for my stock b/c the battery falls out of the stock and my old battery's wires got stripped, so i had to throw it away. having a hard time finding a new butt plate :( I would buy yours off you, if you're willing.

Actually .12s are okay to use in low-end AEGs like this one. Just don't use it in something with over 330 FPS or it will fuck up the gearbox.

wtf? i bought a cyma 0.28 (same gun really) and its stock and can shoot through a can from far away....its also 380 fps. stock.

With the money you spent into that you could have bought a REAL AK-47 AEG like the Tokyo Marui. The SRC has bad compression although out of the box it is all metal and real wood. So why did you get a shitty UTG and put so much money into it when you could have got a TM AK-47 which is so much better?

It's actually widely agreed upon that the TM AK's are the worst of the TM line of AEGs. And with all the mods he did to his UTG I would imagine it beats a TM AK in side by side tests.

Actually the TM AK-47 is one of the highest rated TM AEG's. It was the first AEG to bring in the Version 3 gearbox that can take an M110 spring without being reinforced and it is a lot better than the Version 2. TM's worst AEG is the Uzi which has a plastic Version 5 gearbox and shitty hi cap mags. Other TM AEG's such as the Thompson and the P90 have barely and upgrade parts. No, his UTG won't beat the TM.

No, actually from what I heard the TM UZI and FAMAS were the worst guns made by TM because they were earlyer models. From what I have read the TM AK is one of the best out there.

The paratrooper is the best of the UTG AK-47's. It came out later, and UTG put more care into the metal version 3 gearbox. The magazines that come with the paratrooper are full metal 600 round ones that are good. The WarHawk and Commando have plastic 340 round mags that suck. The paratrooper has more metal parts.

-I didnt want to buy a another gun because I already had the paratrooper

-The Warhawk was a much earler release and had many problems

-The Warhawk just isnt as good...

Well for AK guns, the largest wireing you can fit in there is 18 guage. But 16 guage has more resistance, it can take more heat and the wire itself is a tiny bit thicker.

No, you only got one thing right. Heat=bad =] The wire I have on there now 18 guage and is a bigger type of wire. Larger wire with thicker rubber= LESS heat. Less heat=good! =]

make sure it has a removable butt plate and has space, youll have to disensemble the gun to the gearbox and move the correct wires to the stock

Yeah, I already re-wired it so I have some experience with that. The butt plate is also removeable but I dont know for shure if it can fit a large type battery. I also take appart the stock itself because there was a waight in there I was going to take out.

Well the guy I got it from said it was originaly useing a mini type battery. I take out some of the stuff inside the stock to make more room so I found I can stick a 10v mini type battery if I wanted to!

The 9.6V will not fit the standard Cyma/UTG/Marui stock. You will either need an AK-74 stock or you will need to make mdifications to the battery (the battery will have the two extra cells in another position) or the stock (remove some of the material inside the stock). You might want to try an 8.4 3400 mAh batt, as it will give you similar ROF but longer life span of the batt and gears.

Yeah, like I said, I take out a bunch of the stuff inside of the stock to make room for a bigger battery. I opened it up last night and found I can stick a 10v small type battey in the stock. I dont know if I can put a 9.6 lanrge type batter in there though. I need a pic of a small type battery next to a large type battery.

I wanted a full stock because I wanted to use a better battery. I also had to use a full stock because I had to change the body to fit the new wireing. I also got it at Hobbytron(dot)com, I dont know if they still carry it but the are better guns comming out.
