They're not bad, but they're definitely missing cohesiveness. SaW has always been on of my absolute favorite bands hands down, and it does really seem as though these guys are trying hard to imitate the style (which mind you, if that means the genre spreads, and we get better bands, then hurray.), but I just don't Amyst manages to hit the vocal range of SaW.

They didn't really copy SAW. Regardless, the genre consists of about 4 bands so any growth in the genre will help all parties involved.

I like this kind of music, Secret and Whisper and Amyst, their music is so awesome, I don't care if it sounds the same, in some parts it don't, there are a lot of bands who plays the same music, but these bands are limited and Amyst deserves much more than only criticism.

Secret and Whisper, Amyst and Saosin have pretty much the same style, other bands you may like which are new or old bands of the vocals of Saosin and SAW are Circa Survive and Stutterfly, the bands The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and The Bleeding Alarm are really good also.
