  • You are one smart little boy. Nice video!

  • lol thnx

  • very high performance, my lipo that i got with it was underpowered

  • Hi,

Im thinking of buying one of these. Can you let me know what you think you think of it? Im thinking of either the red crowned crane or the Wilga 2000. Do you have any ideas which is better? You seem to know a lot about these things.

    Jason

  • Hi jason, the red crowned crane seaplane is excellent other than the battery, i cant remember what cell but it was underpowered so if you buy the crane you might need a bigger lipo, the crane is also beefier foam than the Wilga.

  • Sam,

Thanks for this. I prefer the look of the crane and as you say seems tougher. Also it comes with a brushless motor as standard (the doesnt)

My main worry was that the supplier said the Wilga was better quality. Also if you look closely at the promo videos of the Crane flying it is always actually the Wilga (you can tel by the marking).

Did yours fly well? Did you fix it yet? Would be great to see it in action.

    Jason

PS I think it comes with a 11.1V 1200 Mah battery

  • Jason,

Have you had any experience with rc planes, if not i would recommend a flight sim (rc) the sim is wellworth the money!

  • A couple of years with a 3 chanel. ParkZone Cub. Aileron experience only with Minium AD which is difficult as its so small. Now looking to up to big size (1m wingspan) 4 chanel withg pontoons. Love the look of the Crane just keen to finc out how it flies. Looking for s slow plane that can be flown at low altitudes. Were you happy with the prerformace of yours Sam?

  • yes i was very pleased

  • foam aint cheep and it alot more fun to make your own rc plane
