  • I respect this guy so much. I'm starting a Body Mod movement.

  • I had an old guy come up to me and tell mee my piercings and ear looked "stupid" and I told him his old saggy skin looked stupid LOL

  • your seriously my fucking hero bro

  • Well said. People just aren't accepting enough these days. The most annoying thing is when popular people get mods it's perfectly fine and they're 'oh so pretty'. But if people of a different style (Goth, hippie, emo, Metal head etc.(me)) get mods it's disgusting, you're automatically a freak, and looked down on. Appearance shouldn't be everything. You can be the brightest person and be so talented but people only care about what you look like and it fucking sucks.

  • people used to make fun of my girlfriend because she like to ride my mustache

    '

  • @brootalmuch Same reason they made fun of my boyfriend.

  • @ModxMovement ur gay?! i dont get it! not to sound stupid. but, im confused.

  • @aksoccer1000 It was a joke. Calm down dude. Lol

  • you=my hero

  • tight video

  • My mom told me she would kick me out of her house & her life if i ever get any body mods. I have had EVERY facial peircing that you possibly could have & i have had gauges, & my mom has ripped every single peircing out.

  • god! so true!!! i hate being judged for having plugs and snake bites..sucks..

  • i feel the same way. however i can see, say, a jewish family disown a their kid since in that religion (atleast in the more traditional branch) find bod mods as destroying what God has created to be beautiful. im not jewish nor religious just being a bitch by metioning this almost a year after this upload.

  • My dad always calls my plugs hub caps =/

  • I wasnt disowned for my mods but it definatly didnt help with my dads choice to get rid of me

  • i clicked the ad to help ya out :D

  • Look at it this way. A person who is handicapped didn't chose to be that way. And you obviously chose to stretch your ears. So in the end it was your decision to be that way.

  • Don't get me wrong I'm not hating in any way. I have stretched ears myself. And I'm with you 100% just something to think about.

  • @AKD1V And it's cool. we are having a discussion not an argument. Lol. All is good.

  • @AKD1V Choose* oops

  • @AKD1V But my point is. I'm not sure if its based on choice or not. What if someone is handicapped because they were out drinking and chose to drive anyway. and got into an accident. Then is it their fault? Then can we make fun of them for being in a chair? or no? I mean where are we going to draw the line.

My point is everyone is different. And we need to stop being dicks and accept the fact that some people have extra things that some people dont. like wheelchairs. Or modifications.

  • @ModxMovement nah bro i know exactly what you mean

some people are just dicks i guess

    i get your point 100%

  • @AKD1V Well, Your mom chose to let me fuck her, and i paralyzed her from the waist down so she kinda chose that.

  • @WipUrWinky that was so funny dude wow

you should become a comedian with jokes like that!

  • @AKD1V Dude i hope you weren't serious about me being a comedian, that was like a 5th grade your mom joke hahah .-. but if your serious thank you :P i do improv but i was just bored when i wrote that

  • @WipUrWinky oh no im dead serious that was very original! you deserve an award for that

  • You are awesome.

  • My parents and other family seem to have this huge hate against tattoos/mods...

I started stretching my ears when I was 15 and I actually got kicked out of my house for a week, on my 16th bday I got snake bites. I then had the option to take them out or get out the house, so I chose the easier option and just took them out.

When I started ear stretching it was a fashion statement but now I take it very seriously and I am currently at 34mm. My goal is 52mm.

  • @ModxMovement Who Loves Orange Soda,Kel Loves Orange Soda,Yes I Do I Do I Do Oo

  • "... absolutely silly."

    You're so cool.

    :]

  • What the heck is a mod? Is there CSS for humans now?

  • were did u get your haircut?

  • The respect factor between parents/children definitely has to be a two-way street. I think I lucked out to have parents who loved me enough to just sit down and have a conversation with me about -why- exactly I wanted each mod I got. To make sure that it wasn't just a whim. I plead my case and won them over most of the time. Other times, they made me rethink it. The worst I get is the thickly German accented "Puts zat sing outta your nose!" from my Oma. Even then it's with a smile on her face.

  • i love you so much ahah

    your hilarious!

  • im a modified girl and im in high school. everyday i get put down for it. but im proud as fuck of my mods. because along with the put downs alot of people think its cool.

  • Lol! I hate your fucking shirt. ahahhah.

  • My mom made me walk out of Wal-mart because i flipped my septum down :( ITS BEEN PIERCED FOR TWO YEARS!!!!

  • @zulema9927 thats funny and messed up at the same time

  • hey your videos are awesome! im really looking for help with my ears so i was at a concert and someone put there finger through my ear i was wearing tunnels and ripped my plug out of my ear its not completly ripped in half but the skin thats holding my ear together is like needle its that thin no joke is there anyway to fatten it up? please help me!

  • @AlliwriteAboutisYou send me a photo of it. mod_movement@yahoo.com

  • fuck man ur awsome, its total bullshit how people just can come up and say omg thats fuckin grose. happens everyday and its anoying

  • @myles123456789 lol. nah man. you're awesome.

  • @myles123456789 i have to agree, i went to eat breakfast at a resturant and the waiter before doing anything she says eww are thoses gauges(i wanted to explain that she was using the wrong term)but i let it go,but it does get really annoying

  • hey man, love the videos, you're a cool cat. i have a question completely unrelated to this video.. I'm going to sound like a total newb when i ask this but can i use johnson + johnson heavy duty waterproof tape to stretch as an equivalent to PTFE plumber's tape or do i just fail at life for buying a roll?

    hoping for a reply..

  • @rastakid420 oh lucky i wish mine did

  • can i stretch every 2 weeks instead of every month if i have enough extra space in my ear for the next size or should i still wait a month?

  • @TWINKY8888 Waiting times vary. If you feel as though you can stretch after two weeks safely without hurting yourself. and you're all healed up. then you can try. but go easy.

  • If someone came up an said my lobes looked stupid i would kick ther ass. Why didnt u Joe, u look like u could throwdown =D

  • @HardcoreDeathcore I'm a pretty peaceful guy. Sure I could choke someone to within inches of death. but....haven't really found a good reason yet. Talk is cheap.

  • @ModxMovement u definitly seem peaceful. Which a good thing. I just feel like sometimes people take for granted the fact that people are peaceful an need to be taught a lesson theyll never forget. As long ur replying back id like to say u were my source for stretching my ears, ur vids helped me alot =D keep it up

  • @HardcoreDeathcore Thanks dude.

  • lol we should just start a gang or coalition that protects people with visible mods. That way if someone fucks with u, a shitload of modified people kicks the shit outa them xD. Seriously, we need protection under the law. they give transgender people jobs an make special bathrooms for them, why not do the same for us.

  • @HardcoreDeathcore Violence is not the answer.

  • people are surprisingly not scared to talk shit about stretched ears o.o luckily i live near montreal, so stretched ears are more ''common''. my parents don't like them, but they don't care about em that much anymore, since I made them realize that they were REALLY rude to me sometimes haha.

  • continued from previous comment, knowing full well its not the accepted norm to look like this

  • @jokerxcore we are normal. they are different. lol.

  • @ModxMovement at the same time i totally agree that disowning your child for modifying their body past 18 is completely ridiculous, if you live in your parents house and they dont like it try and work a deal like if i keep my grades up and have a part time job can i stretch my ears this big etc but being discriminated in the workplace is completely understandable safety issues stuff falling in the food if you work with food, looking professional is another one im just trying it from a dif view

  • arguments i always get thrown back at me are "we did this by choice" which is true honestly it sucks but we did do this to ourselves and if someone doesn't wanna give us a job that's definitely on them. i mean lets face it facial piercings and large stretched lobes, tattoos on your face and head make you visibly different and sometimes scary to some people, handicapped people may or may not have been handicapped by their choices but we definitely did this to ourselves knowing full well its

  • I don't know if you remember me, but I told you that I had decided to get $150 to take my plugs out from my mom. I wanted to let you know that I've chose not to take the money and re-stretch my ears. Only, because I'm a little greedy, I'll be at 2g or 0g until November, because I do have a job now and will work until then. Fortunatly I may make up to $1000 in that time.

I wanted to know, could my ears shrink in 8-9 hours? Since I don't know if I'm allowed to wear my plugs at work.

  • @YouWillGetNetted I know who you are. and it depends how long you have been at that size. 8 hours it could shrink to the previous size. maybe. unless uve had them in for a long time.

  • When my father found out that I had my ears stretched to 3/4", he told me he didn't care, and that he lost hope in me. He thought because of my choice, to stretch my ears, I was a low life, I wouldn't be going to school, and I'd never find a job. This just made me more motivated to attend a 4 year college as a big middle finger to him.

  • $30-40 is the most i can do

  • @CursezZ there is no way. you will find plugs over 2 inches that cost under $50. And if you do. then......fuck me. but i highly highly doubt it.

  • steel or acrylic glass is way expensive any help would be appreciated

  • @CursezZ well dude. ur talking about OVER 2inches. no matter what material its gonna be expensive. acrylic is cheap. but its also a cheap material. cheap plugs over 2 inches really dont exist man. how much are you trying to spend?

  • Oh okay just making sure. do you have any clue where to acquire plugs over two inches non-organics?

  • @CursezZ wat material are u looking for? glass and steel?

  • I went to school in Compton when I had my 1-3/4, so I've pretty much heard it all.

I'm kind of immune to the "omgzzz!!!1!!1"

I'm kinda blessed to have a family who was like, "what is that?!" and then got over it after a day. XD

  • thanks joe, finally a etiquette video. its completely uncool to hate on modded people. i have 1 inch lobes and i get a ton of stares and bs questions. i got called a circus freak by my dad, had my friends dad say "they were stupid." some have gone so far as to say my ears look like assholes. i mean come on now stretching and shit has been around for how long now? i liked your point about equality and what they teach u in school.

  • everything said in this video is absolutely true

  • FUCK YEAH DUDE PARTNER IT UP FUCK IT ITS JUST A LITTLE AD

  • I accept the idea of ads. They happen, and I can easily ignore them. Anything that helps ModxMovement is okay by me.

I agree with you on the acceptance thing 100% as well. It's like we're taught "respect people because of the differences we're born with" but it's fully okay to torture people for their choices. We need to do what we can to stop that. The best way, I think, is to have healthy, done-right mods, and to educate the public, not be rude back to them. Rudeness begets rudeness, right?

  • My entire family tells me that they think my ear stretching is ridiculous, and the facial piercings I want are "ridiculous" and will make me look like a "freak". My grandmother told me that my stretched lobes, make me "un-lady like". I get a lot of hate for my stretched lobes and the other modifications that I desire but, my love for them out weighs the hate! Thanks for this video Joe (:

  • thumbs up for freaks.

  • couldn't agree more. i get crap all the time, because i have stretched ears and dreadlocks. my parents are okay with it, but my other relatives aren't

  • i turn 20 in october! ha i wish i had a beard as thick as yours lol

  • yea i went to preschool they made fun of me and now i have mods still get made fun of and i dont even have anything outragous lol like im only stretching my ears to a 00g and i want 2 more piercings and tats but i still get told im gonna look funny... and i think its stupid because mods are only getting more popular so y hate them? a convicted murder got a job over me because i had mods that i could easily take out or hide... ignorance..... XD the beard does makes u look older but still epic

  • hay joe you should check out this documentary called modify i think youll enjoy it alot

  • @CursezZ Lol. i have it on DVD. and Iv watched it many many times.

  • dude my family hates it.... i was working one day (pacsun=)) and some lady looks at me and calls me sicko i just smile at her and wave! i have people always saying stupid shit to me i'm just like whatever i just give them the finger! =) your vids rock btw

  • who llikes this video ...i do ...is it true...i do ido ido do-ooo

  • @dikoter K-k-k-k-k keeel loves orange soda.

  • @ModxMovement best saying in just about any nickelodeon show...

  • if a parent really loves their child they will probably be mad or disapointed in them for getting that tattoo or piercing, but they wouldn't kick their own child out. parents over react way too much when it comes to mods.

  • I hate being judged obviously. I get it everyday Of my life but all the looks I get from strangers and comments from people I dont know, wouldnt make me feel like shit if my own family members didnt already say stuff like that before.

  • if a parent disowns their child for something so petty as a tattoo or piercing they really have no concept of what the love between a parent and child should be..

  • I got a new tattoo & my mom said 'I hope you get a disease and regret everything you've done to your body' I've had my ears stretched now for almost 7 years and I don't regret it at all I also work at a place where I got hired without telling them I had stretched lobes they ended up finding out later & asked me why I didn't tell them in the interview.

I really don't think they obstruct my ability to be a hard worker and i recently receivedn an award from them which I think proves it

  • @ooNurs3oo OMF! Do we have the same mom?

My mother gave me a speech about how I could get AIDS or Hepatitis... She is thoroughly disgusted with my piercings, tattoos, and my mohawk.

  • Comment removed

  • @DeniseStCroix aww but mohawks are the cooliest! At least we're staying strong with our views right?

  • @ooNurs3oo I love having mine. I feel a million times better looking in the mirror now. i don't know if I will ever go back to "normy' hair.

  • you deserve a statue made.

  • NICE 100TH VIDEO!!!!

  • GO TRI STRETCHED EARLOBES!!!!!!!!

  • My Dad told me he can't wait till I'm 18 + can show me the door, and my Mum told me she's never going out with me ever again because she's so embarrassed. Amazing.

  • you're so right, luckily my parents haven't disowned me...yet haha.

i've always wondered what you do for a job? if you've said in a video i must have missed it or if it's personal that's fine too

  • Society will never accept us modified people due to there ignorance. Thank you for the informative video Joe. Great lighting. Your only 20? must be your epic beard :D

  • @PandaHardstyle yeah im not sure why I look like im 30. Creeps girls out. lol. But this beard is the shit right.

  • @PandaHardstyle Society is people, not an idea, so the more people get mods, the more people accept mods, in 10 years time mods will be twice as acceptable from now, just think about earings 10 years ago and today.

  • Good video dude.

  • Dude im 22 and i can't grow a beard like that!!! MEH!!

  • joe i love you dude

  • dude ur only 20?

    i thought u were like 30!

    haha :)

  • i have streched lobes, and my dad doesnt like it. but he didnt like kick me out, i'm only 14 and ive been streching for almost a yearr.

i think its so stupid that parents disown their child b/c they have streched lobes, peircings, or tattoos. my dad hates my ears but i tell him, its my body, and i can do what i want. but he would neveeeerr ever kick me out. haha, thats just stupid.

i thinnk mods are beautiful and a way of expressing yourself. i plan on getting many more. :D

  • I'm also showing my parents this in the morning.

  • @AskMitchJackson cool let me know what they think.

  • I can't stretch my ears or anything cause my parents will do this and kick me out. It's fucked.

  • let them laugh, who gives a shit. we're the ones content with ourselves in the end anyway.

  • I have never had anyone come up to me and talk badly about my ears, most of the time it is people asking if it hurt, why I did it, and if I have a hard time in school with other people. So I am rather fortunate to have not had to deal with it, but I have gotten a lot of weird looks, gross looks. And I am 18 and I have been very independent for a few years, and it suck they way the real work is compared to being in school, most people think school is horrible, wait until you get out, be prepared

  • my dad wont let me were my septum when we eat steak...

  • @McMattR Lmao

  • My mom has made fun of me many times to my face about my ears, this is ussually how it goes

mom:"your ears are so ugly sam, you would look so much better with out them"

me: " mom your hair/face is so ugly, I think you would look so much better with out it"

I know that seems rude but I fallow with telling her how rude her comment was and that it hurts to here and I like to give people examples to really learn how saying like that about your sons appear can hurt. but the comments have now stopped.

  • good points ppl stare at me one old man was like u need help u look dumb i just walked away. great video ppl need to relax and let ppl be different everybody cant be the same.

  • yeppers im living at home and i have 4 tattoos but if i get anymore that my parents find out about or get any piercings they will kick me out and im 21 and am paying them rent = (

  • i agree with everything you said in this video. amazing video bro!

  • Dude Jo I just changed my txt tone to the mario coin sound four days ago. and then you have it. Also before that one I had the Comunicator sound from power rangers

  • I do agree with you, but there is only one difference(Just playing Devil's Advocate here).

Being handicapped or something like that isn't a choice. But, modding yourself is a conscious choice.

  • i guess we modify ourselfs on purpose where as people that are handicapd are forced into that situation so i guess were being judged on the fact that were doing it to ourselves and theyy (parents/caregivers) just cant understand why but in all seriousnes it will always be like that and people are always gunna judge people with mods so people should really put more thought into it before permanently changing there body

  • my mom is ok with my mods and tattoos im 15 and i ask permision to my mom for all my tattoos and piercings my family doesnt like it and i tell them would you rather have me doing drugs or getting piercings,at least my family doesnt have that much of a problem

  • i agree in everyway, my family and church were bashing me on my recent sretches up to a 6 gauge but they accept me for who i am because they know that i have my own opinions and ideas

    great video

  • fuck yeah!

lets make ths huge like the APP or BME!

  • sorry to double-post (i ran out of characters lol)

i have had a few people say stuff about my ear (other one isn't stretched yet, had problems with it xD ¬¬ ) and ive overheard some people say "wtf is that on his neck(which is hilarious), but i take them as a joke....ive got to the point where the ignorance of others has just became humour..its kinda sad how anybody who looks different is automatically judged.

i can understand people not liking them but to change my opinion is just wrong.

  • it comes down to choice. making fun of someone for their race isnt ok since thats something that they cant change but making fun of a fat person or modded person is okay cuz they have control over that. its not fair but thats unfortunately how it is.

and its good mod movement is finally in the partnership since the website needs to totally happen.

  • @skittlestheG5000 It's very true. and yes. it needs to happen. the website that is.

  • my mum and granparent's really don't like me stretching my ears or getting piercings of any kind, but they are fine with me getting them (as long as im happy with them) but my dad is well....being a prick about it. he's told me that getting nape (neck) microdermals is 'retarded' and 'disgusting', which kinda showed me how ignorant he is but oh well. personally, i can understand when people kinda stare a little (becuase body mods aren't something you see everyday)

  • Joe, do you think that it was greedy to take my 1/2" plugs out for $150 from my mother? It's rediculous that I did it, I know, but I need the money, and I'll have a job now. But personally, if I make enough, I could pay my mom back, and re-stretch. Would it be bad for my ears if I stretch every school year for the next 3 years, and let my ears heal in the summer?

  • @YouWillGetNetted I think that. we all have a price. and your's was $150. I wouldn't be bad as long as you don't stretch to fast.

  • Please tell me that the sound at 5:11 is the coin sound from Mario! Also you're a boss, just sayin

  • @YouWillGetNetted yeah its my text message alert. used to be power rangers.

  • @ModxMovement At least the Kim Possible one hasn't made it out of Philly, cause that shit's annoying!

  • This is a coincidence you put this up today. I've been feeling like shit all day. This morning I went to the local coffee house with my dad. We ran into an older gentleman my dad has known for years. I had never met him. He asked me flat out when I was going to shove "those things" into my dad's ears, and my dad said, "When he holds me down". He then said what will I do when they go out of style, and then told me I should go live with the african tribes. I just feel ashamed.

  • @jamesonwlucas its ok man i felt the same way once ur use to it it becomes ur strenth

  • Comment removed

  • yea one of my good friends got kicked out of his house for havin 2 inch lobes and hes 19, parents dont get it and its hard to make someone see somthing they dont wanna see, sad...

  • Lol my grandma pierced my ears and my mom helped stretch from 2g to 0g lol and they actually didnt complain much :D so im kinda lucky still not convincing them on a tattoo though :(

  • i feel the same way this makes me so upset i just dont understand how body modification isnt exceptable cause your right everybody is different i guess america really isnt about freedom to do whatever

  • Mod Movement for partnership!

  • YOU CUSSED D;<

  • @JakeJealousy001 I know. lol. I tried. I really tried.

  • I have no problem with you, I love your videos, thats why I subscribe to your channel, but you have to understand my point of view: We want them to accept our opinion about our body modifications...fine. But unless you want to be hypocritical, you must accept their opinions as well.

  • @IrisSkylines No it's cool. I accept the backlash. totally. I accept it and I've always seen it coming. Rude comments never take my by surprise. I expect them now a days. It's surprising when I get a nice comment. haha. I just don't understand why people hate us so much. Doesn't matter too much brother. I can't imagine a life without mods now. I love who i am. and what i look like. Now if i could just lose a few pounds id be all set. hahaha.

  • @ModxMovement Cool. And nah Joe, your fine the way you are man. =]

  • I dont really care if people have a problem with my mods. I didnt do it for anyone exept myself, so why would I care what others think? When I started getting tattoos and stretching, I knew that people would have a problem with it, so what. And no disrespect to you, but body mods are NOT the same as a man loosing his legs. Body mods are our own decisions, so we must be prepared for the backlash. I know its not fair but that life, and it wont change.

  • this is a topic that I deal with everyday. its truly not easy..i het jusged outside of my house& people do it again in my house.MY OWN FAMILY MEMBERS!! in there minds its unprofessional..to my its my body& my way ...wat do u think

  • you blatantly want a new ipod and paint job on your car don't you :P

  • Good luck on starting your website or whatever it is you want to do with mod movement. I'll always support

  • I agree completely. People often say to me, "oh my god that's disgusting" etc but I'd never point out their disgustingly rude behaviour.

  • Your ears are so lovely and big and your only twenty. I'm twenty and mine are 30mm. Oooh, so jealous!!

  • I almost got kicked out for having my smiley pierced :c

  • first =)

  • @HanzDuztav What an achievement lol
