Oh, this is just absolutely wonderful. The whole of the start with Chris, Amber, Lea and Jenna was perfect. Dianna's snort was adorable and the sofa thing was hilarious. Harry, Heather and Kevin talking about Saved By The Bell cracked me up. Mark singing "he's dead" was so cute and when Darren sang "shot through the heart" and Ashley finished it off with "and you're to blame," oh my God, I died. And when Amber said "it kind happened organically," I was like, DARREN. The whole thing was perfect.

the thing is though as much as I love Glee I have never once watched it and thought wow this is controversial or this is a little risky. i think that American TV is very different to UK TV. i mean take Skins as an examople if anyones aware of it. it was re-done in America but watered down quite a lot and even then caused outrage and was quickly cancelled.

@razmataz13drums Exactly! I think it's the same in Australia; I for one have never thought that either. It seems like what's "controversial" or "risky" in the US is very different to here.

I also find it interesting that, for example, all these US crime shows are so widely accepted (within & outside the US) - despite having very dark themes and material - yet shows like Glee seem to create controversy. Part of that might be because it appeals to a younger audience, but that's not all.

@cowsarebetterthanyou they are really tiny animals that kids get in a beaker. it sounds really wierd but when i was growing up not that long ago actually (im 17) everyone had them. theyre baby shrimp or prawns i think. and the company that sels them are called sea monkeys so that name is only a brand rather than the name of the actual animal :)
