okay im have a iphone 2g on 3.1, i download the fw link which took over a hour, and restored it with itunes and i got a 1604 error, then i did it again and i got a 2001 error, what do i do now?

im on mac, everything is up to date, i didnt bother with the pwnage tool... as your description say i do not need to.. please help me out man thanks

Try putting it into DFU mode then restoring to the firmware you downloaded. If it still doesn't work, try jailbreaking on 3.1.2 (you can watch bbsipodtouchhelp video on how) via PwnageTool.

Hey man, i have an jailbreaked iphone 3g 3.1 and im sitting on a windows comp. I downloaded the 666repo.ultrasnow thing and rebooted, now it says searhing in the signal bar.. it has not found anything, still searching, how can i unlock my phone?

there is none jailbreak for 3.1 2g for windows.. it sucks.. im thinking about downgrading again

Yes there is. Just download the custom firmware from the description and restore your iPhone to that custom firmware (it's the same restore instructions as in my video).

If you are using an iPhone, make sure your sim card is in the phone. It that isn't the problem, try restoring it without putting it in DFU mode.
