pot is a natural plant, it actually has no carcinogens. a study was done terrifying that unlike tobacco smoke it does no damage to your lungs. as well as one by harvard medical center saying it has no cancer causing ingredients and does no damage to your lungs.
I don't smoke much at all. I don't handle it well. When I'm with a few people and it gets busted out, I'll have a hit, just to insure that everyone else relaxes. I know a lot of smokers get mildly weirded out by someone being there who isn't smoking. And one hit does me fine. I actually do feel it, without the negative effects I associate with pot.

Well, I smoke regularly, and honestly I don't really care, If someone who is there doesn't smoke. Then again, I usually smoke with really good friends, so even when someone doesn't smoke, we are all comfortable hanging out.

@djosephallen Yeah, not all smokers are uncomfortable with non-smokers. When my son and his friends are around (and they all smoke regularly) they are fine if I join in or not.

If it was legalised the bottom would drop out of the market.
Anyone could grow it and the price would plummet.
The money to be made from pot now is due to it's illegality ie: the risk of prosecution for production and supply which limits it's availability.
I brew my own beer for a fraction of the market cost now and could grow my own pot practically for free.
Legal production would destroy the profits of those producing it illegally now.
