Utubes excuses might have made sense when it began. Now its a billion dollar company and the terrible resolution is caused by a combination of no competition and to cover their behinds if true digtial quality material was uploaded..then they would be like Napster. That's what I have concluded as I watch 2008/9 videos with the clarity of those 1949 TV's with 4" screens!
I go there once a month, it's so nice; especially if you go on days when there is like NO ONE on the grounds. Plus this year, they're opening new gardens and renovating his mansion, so by the end of the year it will look awesome.
i wish i can go there once a month. it takes me more than an hour to get there. it is a lovely place. you should check out the lotus land garden. i haven't been there yet but i heard that it is awesome place too.
heres' the scoop: MPEG-4 is designed to deliver DVD-quality video (MPEG-2) at lower data rates and smaller file sizes. It proves much more efficient compression than MP3 with a quality rivaling that of uncompressed CD audio. The trick is it is a proprietary sofware, and is not easily playable everywhere. But it is defitely worth looking into. See for instance a video in Youtube "Mile Regrets memling"; quality is awsome!
oh, i see! that's too bad! thanks for the info. why doesn't youtube update that instead of updating other things on their website? since they have so many people view their website, users and viewing people would like it more.
thank you. i tried my best in capturing the beauty of the gardens with limited equipments. :) someone told me that i need to get mpeg 4 in order for the quality to be nice but i don't know where to get that.
I doubt that better sofware will improve the quality. I supose the definition is limited by the YouTube service, not our equipment. I see the same problem with my videos; the published quality is quite inferior compared with the original. I guess it is a problem of memory resources!
It is called the huntington library. I pack a picnic (you can't eat on the grounds, but they have a cafe area) and we spend the whole day there looking at everything. They have a couple of buildings filled with art also, and a library with rare books on display, like a Guttenburg Bible. Dress prettily and bring a camera.
