For a tip you bring your back swing a little too far. Maybe a little more parallel to your target.

Thanks for the tip. I actually read many books on swing, there is no real sound reasoning on why the parallel.

@TheSwingCheck when going past parallel it is only for more power and it can sometimes cause less accuracy.

@sp0rtsfan11 , Thanks for the reply. That is what I understand, back swing to parallel is a particular distance for a particular club. For more distance, it is over parallel. For less distance, back swing to less than parallel.

Thanks for the advises. The video was 2 years old. Now my handicap is about 8. My best score is an even on a par-71 course. I'll quit playing after break 70. Of course, my swing now is more presentable after all the practices.

The ceiling is 8 feet high. I'm 5'7". It is just enough for me. Actually at the begining I did scratch the ceiling many times, but no serious damage just scrach marks. All scratches happened at finishing. After awhile almost no issue. Now I have a basement which is 8'5" high, and there was no issue at all for practice swing. Hope this helps.

The wrists still partially cocking(or hinging) at impact, so the clubface is wide open.

BTW, the TV is still working.

@TheSwingCheck It seems like you might be a bit too closed with your feet. On your downswing you can feel you are lagging so you try and over compensate so you are hitting the heel and that is why you would be shanking it.
