She shouldn't be talking too much to it. Its no wonder these creatures are less shy, there are so many people encroaching on their space.
I dislike handling animals for fear they will get too used to people. I am sad this koala almost was hit by a car. I know they are adorable, but we should try and understand that if we are too kind, they will not fear us and they kind of need to, their survival depends on it.
Hi, I agree all you said but, first: she wasn't talking to the koala (I presume you don't speak italian) but to me. Second, we intended to make this video without approaching to the animals (and I don't think that it means "handling animals"); Finally, we've never seen a koala , so I think you can understand few seconds of emotion in front of it. Anyway thanks a lot for your comment and there should be more people which think like you about animals.
In fact! We had the intention to stay far from the animal and use the zoom to not scare it. But we were surprised of its unexpectable behaviour. Thinking better I'm afraid that it came close due to bad behavior of some tourists which many times feed the wildlife: that could explain why it approached to the car so easily, just like a habit :o(
