It's rather amusing & somewhat ignorant when you get people going on about Leona using her Head Voice (falsetto is incorrect for women).

Her HV & use of it, is what makes Leona stand out from the rest. No one else can surpass her in terms of quality & effortlessness.

Using head voice successfully & making it sound great, is very difficult! That's why hardly anyone uses that part of the vocal range nowadays, belting is easier to achieve.

Making out that HV is a bad thing is just amusing!

Leona only won X Factor in 2006 and her first album was released in 2007, so she's hasn't been around as long as Kelly who won American Idol in 2002 & her first album was released in 2003. Kelly has had another 3 albums since then so she's had a bit of a head start on Leona. Where ever I have been in the world (random islands in the middle of nowhere) I hear people listening to Leona Lewis, so she's doing something right.
