I have been watching a video of Chernobyl. The person who posted the video tried to show what happens in communist countries, accidents etc but what I saw in the video was that the people from the cities, from the villages, the soldiers, even without protection they run to help the victims and spent weeks cleaning the contaminated areas to protect each other. Those people were national heroes, the essence of communism. Capitalist people dont help victims if they risk their own welfare.

I was lied to as a child, made to fear them and their hatred against happiness and freedom!!!!!! WHY!!!!! I wish i could have visited the SU in those times, oh it looks like such a wonderful place. Как же я желею что никогда не видел СССР. Если-бы перестройка закончилась удачей, жили бы мы в стране которая была бы лучше как СССР так и Российской Федерации. Конечно кто знает, может быть я и неправ.

@Sirkirill , перестройка не могла увенчаться успехом, так как изначально была начата неправильно. Надо было, первым делом, выстраивать более эффективную экономику (по Ленинскому типу, как в Китае, с элементами рынка), а потом переходить к гластности...

Your didn't live in the USSR but managed to capture the USSR live of 1970 - calm, friendly without warning about the future. I haven't seen such warm pictures before, returns me to my childhood when everybody was young and the future was bright. Now I am thousands of miles from Russia ( USSR ) and 30 years older.
