Two things about this show that ALWAYS bugged me:

1) Where is Batman? Why would he just let Robin run around without any supervision or input?

and

2) Where did Cyborg get his cybernetics? Who the hell invests god knows how much money developing said cybernetics AND paying for the surgery to implant them and then just goes lets this guy do whatever he wants?

1) robin now lives by himself. seeing robin and starfire together, batman accepts robin has now grown up, and starfire can look after him

2) An accident killed Cyborg's mother, and left him damaged pretty badly. So in order to keep him alive, his body parts got replaced by that.

@MisterZimbabwe In the episode that shows how the team met Robin mentions Batman and simply says that he's not working with Batman anymore, but he seems pretty angry about in. In the animated cannon it's heavily implied that they had a falling out and that Robin is still bitter about it. I can't speak for the comic cannon, although it is probably explained in more detail there. As for Cyborg, I have no idea who gave him his electronics, although you could probably find the info on Wikipedia.

@greenjello818 Actually, that wasn't the Robin of this series. The Robin in this Series Is dick Grayson, the first Robin. The one who was turned into JJ was Tim Blake. The teen titans series by Cartoon network doesn't exactly stick to the comics.

@Narutodippy no, this is Tim Drake (there is no Tim Blake, wtf...) in an episode of static shock, static asks batman where robin is and batman replays "with the titans" there are also signs in the JLU, like episode "Epilogue" and in the batman beyond movie return of the joker when Barbra Gorden tells the new batman the story. at the end of it she says "tim left us soon after that to make it on his own" go to 3:05 of /watch?v=bTxb8Qg1vXA you'll see.

@greenjello818 These references are from different series.In the Batman Beyond story, Time Drake(Sorry for the mistake on the Name, my fail)is the Robin in Teen Titans of that time line.The Robin in this series though is dick Grayson as shown in "haunted" when Raven goes into Robin's mind.In a flash back like state is a shot of the top of a circus tent.The situation with this shot is one where Robin is stressed and implies that it is one of the traumatic moments in his lifetime.
