Most definitely, a favorite film for me. I loved it on many levels. The film is concise, pure, maybe predictable, and that's all fine with me, just fine. I just bought the DVD last week.
Just watched this movie for the unmpteenth time...love the scene where James Garner tells Emma's slcker ex husband he's a miserable little son of a bitch and he's gonna kick his ass to the county line.....LOL.
I absolutely love this movie and a lot of it is because of the music.....which you cannot seem to get anywhere. (I am also a David Hartman fan) Thanks for this marvelous video!!!!!
I took it off the vhs recording I made of the movie, using my tape recorder. I have never been able to find any of the music from this movie. What a loss!
The date of this interview is 1986, actually. That was the last time in the 80s that the date of Jan.17 fell on a Friday in the 80s. In '87 the date was on a Saturday--just like this year.
What the hell has happened to music since then???

David Hartman is alive and well. I'm a huge fan and I can't believe it's gonna be 24 years next month since he left GMA.

The wonderful interviewer is the late David Hartman. Sad he passed early. His son - i think is now with CBS news.

Priceless. They broke the mold when she was made. Man, I'm gonna score tix to her show in Nashville (in May) when they go on sale. Can hardly wait!
