Stock bottom end? Has the engine been opened at all? Stock heads? I got into an argument with someone that says you can't make 600+ HP w/ a 03/04 Cobra without going forged bottom end. I tried to explain that these cars are forged from the factory, but it didn't help.
@Blackout690 I have a 3.4 whipple crusher on a completely stock engine in my 03. on 93 octane at 24 lbs of boost we did 722 to the rear. very possible. im running a 3.5 upper pulley. with a high octane progam and a 3.0 will do 800 no problem. the heads are studded and I have a full exhaust and a upgraded fuel system. but as far as the heads and the engine. never been opened or touched.
Was that a pump gas tune? I have seen two stock 4v's make that power, with the 3.4 whipple, but you have a stroker/heads/cams set up. I expected a little bit more? Am I wrong?
no my 03 has a 5.3 stroker. Comp stage3 cams. Ported and Polished heads. Comp Cam Gears. Whipple 3.4 and on pump gas at 750 rwhp and 746 rwtq. My exhaust setup is Kooks Custom Long Tube Headers Kooks catted x and Borla Aggressive cat back opps I mean Stingers
will the tranny and engine hold up to that much power for very long?
