It sounds like you have the musical talent and skill, but in this clip, the instruments are overrunning your vocals. If you are using a mixer reset you mic to direct in instead of recording off your PA. If you are not using a mixer, get one. A little 8-10 channel Mackie or Yamaha create your mix and then go "mains" out into your computers "line in." Your vocals need to be up front.
i dunno why but this song reminds me of good times, and an old nintendo game called, Kid Icarus. Can i request you learn that =))) I'm gonna see if I can find it on youtube..... Maybe i'll just find the game and play along with it =)
Really, I think you should go for it mate, I think you'd impress the judges with your acoustic and harmonica parts. I really think you should go for it, I'll support you :)
great, music happens to be my passion too and i hope i can play many instrument some day too...random question though...did the man in the background in the green shirt used to work at the day camp boys and girls club on long island...and does he happen to be a drummer like myself
Wouldn't go out and try and get a record deal but damn what a difference than 'Bubbly'. Few obvious reasons - she's a girl, sings in much higher registers, and your voice is very much suited for lower registers, not to say you couldn't bust out some strong high notes. If you ever do do a show (dodo, lol), I'd definitely sprinkle in as much of that good-humor and charm you've got going on. Parody songs and other things of that nature. Awesome for bars, BBQs, & drunk audiences. 5/5 on that scale.
thanks for the note man... parody songs are really not my bag.. i like to focus on the music and really only sing when I have strong lyrics to convey.. that being said, I don't think i have an amazing voice, but think it carries an honest quality to it.. thanks for the insight though man, and for taking a listen here... :)
