Logan/Jean loved each other. Scott was an asshole in the comics. Jean loved both Scott and Logan. But chose to marry Scott. Personally, I like Jean/Logan. It's more like love than Scott/Jean was. Scott was too possessive. Logan wanted Jean to choose. And though she chose Scott, he still loved her. He watched her wedding from afar. I will always ship Jean/Logan.
@Vampyress88 You must be a newbie. Scott was never like that in the comics in the 70's, 80's and 90's. I can't stand revisionists who go by movies and newer titles and put down Scott without knowing anything about the 40 year history of the character. Jean would NEVER have left Scott for Logan. She loved Scott from the beginning, and she and Logan knew it would never work between them. True love trumps animal attraction every time.That's why they killed Jean off and put Scott with Emma Frost.
@Palownica Yeah, and she was with Logan in Age Of Apocalypse, but none of that is the canocal timeline. If people wanna ship Jean/Logan that's fine. I ended up on the Scott/Emma ship. But I don't like people disrespecting Scott and Jean's 40 year history together in the comics. Fact is, Jean died in Scott's arms(again) and came back to him and told him to be happy with Emma in Phoenix Endsong. She never ends up with Logan, Scott's with Emma, so the whole Scott/Jean/Logan thing is pointless.
@Palownica Oh, and in X-Men Forever, Logan dies and it is hinted at the end that Jean and Scott reconcile and resume their relationship. But like I said, It doesn't matter now. She's dead in the main 'verse.
