  • @thomandy How old are you? I'm just wonderin

  • @Axelgirl4everandever Hi - at the time of recording, 23, now Im 27 :)

  • @thomandy oh cool, i thought you were younger from the angle of the cameraon your hands

  • Wow thomandy you play amazingly but might i ask where you got the book with victors solo in it? please reply because my piano teacher wants to get it for me but she doesnt know where to buy it and i already know the entire beggining because of you tutorial but please reply... :)

  • @dancergrl1117 Thanks! - I usually dont answer this Q, since the sheets are in the description of this video!:) But yes, its in the sub-bar, ready for download, thats the source I got it from, and hopefully its up and running still :) Good luck!!

  • Wow this is really good, have you really been playing only 4 months? Never give up the piano, you're amazing at it! :)

  • @Schneeble42 Hi - at the time, yes :) But now, Its been a little while longer ;) Almost 4years now :) Thanks!

  • awesome

  • WOW you're amazing, very nice !! and well done.

  • I'll try to learn it for sure! By the way, is there a music sheet somewhere where I can print it? If I learn it enough fast, I'll play it for a contest at my school c:

  • @tobolink look in the description.

  • I learned it, I was so proud to know it ! I played this on my exam, but my evaluators weren't happy, they said it wasn't "classic" and to "easy" for my level. I don't care. I just play what I want to play, and I wanted to play it, and so did I !

  • best piano solo ever.

  • Really good I play to and learned this song ages ago and you play amazingly keep it up as you have a great talent!

  • Cool

  • Great video! The mood is so important! And great playing!

    Fingerz

  • wonderfull

  • Not going to lye when I saw this video I thought you were just a young boy playing, I guess it's the angle of the camera that makes your hands look small. You are very well at your talent, I've been playing piano for 6 year's now and loving it. It really is a beautiful instrument, I can tell just by listening to this that you can feel the music. Very beautiful indeed =)

  • @RandomAssNameHellYea Hi - Yes, the angle might help them look small, but my fingers them self are acually pretty short :) Glad you like the music, at the momment I had played piano for 3months + keybard before that, 4months.. I have kept at it since, and I also really love this beautiful instrument, and the possibilities that lies within it :) Keep your interesst alive!

  • ._. I have no musical talent.....

  • anyone has the score of this song?

    is for my best friend

  • Thomandy you play beautifully :) your tutorial is the reason why im able to play this and only in a few days! I've been out of practice for 5 years so it will take a little while to perfect it like you :) I love when I find other young piano players im 21 :)

  • @XMETALBEARX Hi - Thanks!:) Ah, I see, well Im sure youll get it the way you want it after a while!:) Good Luck!:)

  • i love it! its kind of emotional

  • Your tutorial helped me finish learning the song! I'm happy I'm getting a piano like the one you're playing on soon...I learned on a 61 key plastic keyboard and it sounds horrible but I've played it on a piano and thanks to you it sounds amazing. Thanks!

  • @natcoulew Why on earth would anyone learn how to play the song then merely mime it? o_o. I don't get some of you people.

  • @ilovecorpsebride Hi, nice to know my tutorial helped! Thanks, glad you like it!:)

  • you brought a tear to my eye.

  • It's the corpse bride smart ones

  • @twistedlilpanda

    Danny Elfman

  • nightmare before christmas

  • @PainGottkoerper hihihihihihi~ Danke nochmal, dass du Nightmare before Christmas reingestellt hast :D

  • idk how old u are, cuz ur hands look very small, but you play beautifully

  • @iWaNtToBe3D I was 23(26now) at the time of recording - They look small, and they are sort of small, but my reach is almost a 10th, and thats pretty good - One can play most of the pieces for the piano if one reaches a 8th - Btw, thanks!:)

  • yeah its a playback :) your hands and the music dont go together sorry ;)

  • @natcoulew This is a actually not a playback!:) I have to Sync the audio and video, camera records Video and the piano deliveres the Audio through a cable! Also, youtube might mess up syncing as well, + the processing, so there you go :)

  • me encanta, me hace feiz, me complace escuchar todas las melodias De Danny elffam ............. <3

  • @SuperTahlia123 Hi - Thank you!:) Nice to hear you like it!:)

  • Did you teach yourself to play? Reason for asking is I heard that piano is complicated to play, but I would like to learn and I'd rather teach myself some things and then take lessons.

  • @Tehbestshot Hi - Yes, I did! Dedicate to it, and Im sure you will be able to get into it - Then you can take lessons later on if its something you really feel you want to keep doing! :) Or not, I still teach myself, but I think one can progress a little faster with a teacher..

  • @thomandy Thank you. I don't know how to read music though, is it easy to learn or does it take some time?

  • @Tehbestshot Depends on your tallent! Some might learn it fast, some might not be able to at all.. But most manage to do it after a while.. But this is not really a beginner piece, at all!! So, I wouldnt recomend starting with this piece!! :)

  • @thomandy Lol I hadn't planned on starting with this piece or anything close to it. I'll start with simple things. And hopefully in a couple years I'll be able to play like this.

  • I love this movie so muchh, I adore this song! (and jonny depp) lol

  • spechless!!! :OOO *.*

  • ILOVED IT

  • GUYS put it on 240p (instead of 360p) and it will be louder!! =D

  • @M2Shab Actually true!:) I didnt know, Youtube compressed the audio that much, that It actually affected the volume-level...

  • @thomandy Yeah probably ;) am on my laptop so every little helps..

And i've actually fallen in love with your piano solo.. Beautiful ♥

  • You're fantastic!! I'm trying to learn this piece, but I always mess up quite early on, around measure 7. Not entirely sure why. I know the part well, but I guess my reaction time is too slow.

  • I love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this song... and I love all Tim Burton's movies

  • Oh wow, hold on, at 1:02 you cut the film and then restart, why?

  • @PopTerebi No, I dont cut the film.. I recorded this piece in two sessions, since I made a mistake, and put them together!:) So its sort of part two, starting there - Funny though, I have read all the comments on this video, and you are the first one to mention that slight jump there! :)

  • @thomandy Because we're not watching your hands dude.. we're being hypnotized by the sounds. Real joy to listen to bro look forward to checking out your other videos.

  • hey im curious has Tim Burton done any other films like corpse bride and nightmare before christmas? And nice playing by the way

  • @TheSakura4w Yeah he's done Coraline (which is his most recent) and his older ones are beetle juice and edward scissorhands :)

  • @Iseeunicornsfly No, that's Henry Selick.. Henry also did nightmare before christmas

  • @andriante henry Selick directed but Tim burton produced them

  • Beautiful(: I want to learn to play the piano myself. Is it a hard intrument to learn to play?

  • @xOwlCityxo243 Its not that hard if you got some tallent! :) Also, I think you dont need all the tallent in the world to be able to learn, and to play the pieces that mean something to you! So if you want to start, I support your idea all the way, and I think you can do it! :)

  • @thomandy Thank you(:

  • @thomandy wo your good how old r u? im 12 and i love classical music very much! how about you?

  • @iwuvkatz Hi - Im 26, love classical music as well! :)

  • @thomandy ah, You sound fun!

  • I fell in <3 with this song and Victor... Too bad his an aminated character or not i'll be Victoria :'(

  • beautiful :) please never ever remove

  • Victor looks like my friend Axel, same thin face and hair

  • Victor looks like my friend Axel

  • I'm sorry but this isn't Danny Elfman, it's Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata....

  • @lessthanjordan um its not beethovens moonlight sonata..... you need to get your classical music straight. because this songs nothing like beethovens moonlight sonata. sorry.

  • @sassyjazzy978 I apologize, it is different, it's clearly based on Beethoven. It is almost exactly Moonlight Sonata in the beginning, but then twists in a different direction, as if Elfman is interpreting it differently. Very nice.

  • @lessthanjordan I must disagree :) - Its not based on Beethoven! Its based on the most basic theory, and that is incl. starting on the 5th and using the Harmony of that key to establish the key! Its in the same key, thats what you are noticing! And both pieces starts on the 5th in the melody - But, so does Lots and Lots of pieces that dont got anything to do with eachother :) There is really only 12minor keys, and thats why you feel this way :) Good Key Recognition though! :)

  • wow that was awsome

  • you play very beautiful i wish i could play like that

  • Seems legit.

    You are awesome.

  • Sweeney Todd!

  • @louisassweets i WANT to see that movie unfortunately im too young

  • @SoulEaterEevee it's dark. humorous at points but it's heavy.

  • @lovethatdirtywater1 well i seen the preview and a read some of the description but it's rated R so me mamma won't let me see it

  • Judging by your hands I would say you are a child of some 11-12 years of age, or a very smooth hand teenager, or... whatever.

  • @Pichicha123 I was 23 at the time! 26now.. My hands are small, but still I can reach a 9th on the piano - Even a 10th if I stretch really hard!

  • This song is verry pretty :)

    i play this song and i´m 13 :)

    This Year

  • @Pichicha123 i think it looks about 83.

  • @Pichicha123 could just be a very long piano

  • @EmoKieran The img. Is Stretched! Since Its really in 3:4, but I used a YT-Stretch-Code! Thats why it might seam slightly un-proportioned! :)

  • This is a very beautiful song, very well played! :)

  • Marry me? :)

  • @dChimmy22 ? :)

  • @thomandy Anyone who can play amazing piano should be married :)

  • @dChimmy22 Hehe, I appreciate the compliment!;)
