so quick chemistry lesson...your cells contain both hydrophobic and hydrophilic heads which ensure your body maintains an equalibrium at all times...thats why you dont swell up like a sponge in the bath...however chemicals (like those in beauty products) can trick your cells transport channels into letting them into your cells...thus, they can travel through your skin & into your blood stream!!! so 60% is a reasonable estimate.

LMAO! I never thought of the bath thing, but i do think that it takes time to absorb, water ruins your skin cells so it wont absorb as much as oils.
