  • @mblainwork Thank you!

  • hes right tho. back then americans were badass. they got things done PERIOD! now americans are lazy greedy fat asses.

  • @8100woodman Very true!

  • you do have a big dog! haha what breed is he?

  • @MrWarman17 I have an English Mastiff, and a St. Benard

  • I sure hope I don't become a zombie. I would suck to be shot down by an old school WWII bacon earring bad ass!!! Great video!!!

  • @nazranaknapp LMAO!! Thanks

  • Hey look its Bill from Left for Dead haha. Awesome video dude love the weapons

  • @ShadowManV3 LOL!

  • alot of high quality stuff back then, everything is shrunk down and plastic now adays.

  • @HunterKiller308 I like the older firearms, and the feel of solid wood and steel, but I don't have march 30 miles with them either...

  • @GunznGear Me too, and thats a valid point but, lets be frank when your bashing the enemy in the face with your buttstock there nothing quite like a steel capped hardwood stock. love that bayonet you put on the Garand, did you get that mil-surp?

  • @HunterKiller308 Got my bayonets years ago, mostly at gunshows.

  • Our generation is bad ass lulz

  • @96pdizzle There are fine people in all generations!

  • they wernt like most of the fat beer bellys today the were badass

  • @D34DxChevy Hey wait a minute, I resemble that remark! LOL Except my belly was built with cheese burgers and pizza!! LMAO

  • at 2:31 that's what she said

  • @KIngOFLosers1000 LMAO Yeah baby!!

  • k thx

  • hey do u realy believe in zombies cus i have my thoughts

  • @7t771 No I don't...but I love the movies!!

  • they were badass because they were badass

  • Agreed we need to ignite national and personal pride again. I think a lot of people lack pride in themselves and that transfers into no pride in what they do which then snowballs into lack of national pride. I'm only 26, but my I was raised the way my parents were. I call my parents sir and ma'am respectively, I work hard, and take pride in myself and everything I do. It's a mentality we need to bring back because we're not heading anywhere good if we don't. Thanks for your amazing videos.

  • @garyarb52001 Great comment, thanks!

  • i luv ur zombie survival kits their really good!

  • @ultimateastro1 I appreciate your comment!

  • Like... NO LOVE IT!!! You hit the nail on the head! If only we could restore America to that mentality!

  • @garyarb52001 We should probably start in re-igniting national pride. Thanks

  • My grandpa was a letter writer in WW||. He died 2 or 3 years ago. At the time I didn't know how much I would want to thank him now. :|

  • @Drago36859 We should always be thankful for all of our Vets!! Thanks

  • NOT NO PUNY (insert modern weapon here)

  • @deMahnster LOL That's what I'm talking about!!

  • great vid though... sry had one letter left and coulnd not fit this lol

  • @redeyethor1 LOL it's all good! Thanks, and Merry Christmas!!

  • ya know that all thats pretty cool and i dont doubt that they were bad ass but thats all very heavy stuff i mean they could have carried some of that stuff but they would have been weighed down allot and mobility is key in the zombie apocolypse, and silence is also a big part bout it.in my oppinion ide rather have a zombie not see and hear me and be fine than shoot one, attract two, shoot two, and attract four and so on, so ide luv it if u could make a vid bout mobility in the zombie world thx.

  • @redeyethor1 Actually much of that stuff is genuine G.I. issue from that time. I thought it would be obvious that I was just having some fun, while showing respect to past defenders of our nation. I think the zombie topic is fun and I love the movies, but I don't take it seriously. I do have "bug out"/ survival gear that I intend to make some vids about. Thanks

  • Wow, is there an awesome "BA" gun you don't own? Nice Garand, Thompson and Browning-again-WOW! Good stuff my friend and God bless.

  • @fumasterchu12 Well now that you mention it, I would love to have a BAR and a Gease gun! If only I could win the lottery!! LOL Thanks

  • My favorite part was " the paratroopers were so tough they just jumped out the plane "

  • @Redrobbin1911 LOL Thanks!

  • how many times did you say they were badass? ha great video

  • @aGHETTOcaveMAN I'm sure I said it a lot! LOL Thanks

  • how did you get your hands on that browning?

  • @fluffywhiteducky It's a parts kit I bought a long time ago. I still haven't spent the money to buy the legal parts, or filled out the proper paperwork to make it a real gun

  • A great video. My dad was UDT in WWII. He would have taken out zombies with tin foil; and duct tape. lol One absolute fact was that those men and women were tough. Positively powerful people. Your right! We do owe them thanks and an apology. Semper Fi.

  • @alienbanjopicker "Tin foil and duct tape" LOL Hell yeah!!! Thanks for the great comment

  • You can't conquer a nation without bacon! For some reason that was a great line. As much as I live guns and anything badass that was my favorite part. Well, I guess bacon is badass too!

  • @crazygee69 Bacon is very Badass!!! LOL Thanks

  • that was beast lol great job

  • @RANGERsniper1 LOL Thanks!

  • I got a 9mm that holds 21 rounds thats pretty bad ass...

  • @Blk05titan26 That's a bucket of rounds for sure!!

  • @TheJram1 It's just an incomplete parts kit. I bought it in a gun show many yrs ago. I had hoped to fill out the proper paper work and purchase the parts that would make it a real, functioning gun, but It's really expensive.

  • Where was this generation when the fed reserve was snuck through?

  • great specially the last words we young people almost alwas oversee wath old people did for us thanks for the memories.

  • @jia41375 Thanks for the comment!!

  • You cant conquer a nation without bacon.

  • @SurvivingTheCrunch That's a fact!!! LOL

  • The ideal of a zombie apocolypse in movies didn't originate until George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead, previous films about Zombies were about mindless slaves controlled by a Voodoo priest or a master to do their bidding. George thought it would be frightening to have a monster that eats human flesh, instead of drinking blood or being under control of something. When Dawn of the Dead 1978 came out, it explored z-day and captured the imagination of suvivalists during the Cold War till now

  • @Z0mb3hHunt3r Yeah, I grew up loving the zombie flicks. It is a fun subject. Thanks

  • love the vid! but the old dogs in my family had a shady past after the wars. and 22lr was the reason all three got sent to prison.not because their marks lived, because they got cocky because they found it so easy for a insta kill they stoped taken basic hide preporation.i ome from a long line of snipers.an no i do not think an avarage joe should use a 22lr 4 a tactical weapon, but 4 me its just 2nd nature.very good vid!

  • @jameswrwice Thanks

  • I know, it's one hell of a round, the m1 I fired nearly crushed my thumb twice, I will probably get one after my ar-15 and add a stronger bolt stop pin. :)

    Slabsides-Tupperware

  • @e1ghtys1x I've had my thumb caught once or twice. it does suck!! Thanks

  • @TheJram1 It's only an incomplete parts kit and legaly considered a non-gun. Maybe some day I'll get the rest of the parts and fill out the forms so I can get the registered parts.

  • @GunznGear I am so glad to see that in the video, you correctly call it by its nomenclature, "Battle Rifle". Good to know you respect firearms so much that you call firearm's related items by their correct nomenclature. Great video Van!

  • @Z0mb3hHunt3r Thanks for the kind words!

  • would not want to try and break into his house at night lol

  • Yep 30-06 is a man's cartridge, that's why it is used so much in hi power competitions and by militaries around the world. :sarcasm:

Cant argue with the 1911, that gun owns all other handguns. :) they should make an ar-15 in .30-06

  • @e1ghtys1x Well the 30'06 served the U.S. very well from WWI through Veitnam, and it was also a very popular cartridge in those high power rifle matches you spoke of... at least untill the mid 90's

The good old "slab side" still has a lot of life left in it!! Thanks bro!

  • I wonder how the older generation was like

  • Amen. A generation of true Americans nearly gone for good., God BLESSed America, its people nearly destroyed it.

  • @ThePathfinder71 Thanks you for your comment.

  • Great Video Sir.....OohRah

  • @bigdaddyhoffman1911 Thanks for stopping by BigDaddy!! I'm glad you enjoyed the vid.

  • Great video Van! Awesome weaponry! Take care brother.

  • @ArmyStinger150 Thanks brother!! I appreciate you

  • Badass video, I agree, I'm 16 and my generation is abunch of pussy coward bastards with no honor or dignity, everytime I pass by a war veteran I shake his hand and say thank you for serving, I will be joining the military when I hit 18.

  • @shotgunlandmine Thanks! Tomorrow is Veterans Day, and I hope folks in this country appreciate the deeds of our vets from all generations,

  • Oh really their badass jeez

  • I want a 10 gauge double barrel!!!! Where did you find that??? I live in south east Kentucky and here for home defense we still love our double barrel shotguns! This video cracked me up! Great stuff!

  • @MrPerryBarger Nothing wrong w/ the good ole double barrel shotgun!! I bought that shotgun, and a 12ga just like it, at a gun show in the early 90's. Thanks for the comment

  • @GunzAndGear Yeah, the pooches wonder in and out of my vids all the time. Thanks

  • @GunzAndGear Snoring maybe, but I don't think they were growling. lol

  • That was one of the greatest zombie videos ever

  • @ZombieProtectionCamp Thanks for the kind words

  • DAMN goon point expecially the bacon one........BADASS!!

  • @CVOoutdoors LMAO!! Thanks

  • This video is badass...

  • @ls1dragracer LOL!!

  • another thing they had was pump action shot guns to

  • @Trentster66 I didn't forget the pump actions either, but once again, I don't own a period correct Winchester model 97 or other military shotguns used then. I do not have the Colt and S&W 45acp revolvers that were very prevalent during both world wars either. I'm not really a WWI/ WWII collector, but rather this was some stuff that I use and enjoy that happens to come from that era.

  • one important weapon you forgot from WWI the Trench Knife

  • @Trentster66 I didn't forget it, I just do not have an authenic one.

  • @GunznGear yeah i guess it is starting get really hard to get a real one these days but i'd rather have a bolo :)

  • @Trentster66 A buddy of mine bought one about a month ago for $400.00, that's a bit steep for me.

  • @GunznGear yeah the thing is nothing is cheap everything is going to get more and more expensive it doesn't matter what it is

  • @Trentster66 That is so true!! Thanks

  • lol awsome vid, and yeh i agree without the good old boys the world would be hell of a lot worse off. even here in Ausralia veterans arnt given half the respect they deserve. and in a zombie apocalypse they would have torn em apart with thier hands and saved weapons so they could sit and have a coffee break and still keep fighting

  • @ispike112 They definetly had a "can do" outlook, and a swagger about them. Thanks for your comment!!

  • I'm liking you about right now!

  • He says badass to punctuate every sentence

  • @GunzAndGear Thanks but you don't want "to become as good as me," that's setting the bar low. Be better than me.

  • was there an earthquake or something at like 4:30?

  • @CJSBMXMX4518FL Haha That was probably a plane flying over my house. I live close to an airport.

  • @GunzAndGear You know you're my little buddy, and of course I added your vid!! Anybody can make vids better than mine; just turn on the camera and have some fun!! The great thing about YouTube is that none of us are pro's, we're just having fun. Now get to work on Part 2, mister!!!

  • Thank you for making this great video.

  • @midwest1984 I appreciate your comment, and you are welcome.

  • Great video.... And when was there joking in the video? I found it all to be true.

  • @case710 The message is true, some of the anecdotes were me being silly. Thanks

  • "You cant conquer a nation without bacon"

Band Aid or .45? whats it gonna be? lol

  • @COLT45keith That's what I'm talking about!

  • puny 12 gauge?

  • @1010trent When compared to a 10 guage, yes.

  • @GunznGear so a 3 1/2' 00buck is puny

  • @1010trent Look man, I was just having fun with this vid. 12ga is a great shotgun round, and I have about a dozen shotguns chambered for it. Is it as powerful as 10ga? No it isn't, but it's still an awesome rd. I've got another news flash for ya; those first guys that were in the 101st Airborne division actually did use parachutes.

  • @GunznGear yeah i think everyone knew they used parachutes

  • @1010trent Whew, I'm glad we got past that one! LOL Take care

  • @GunznGear you too

  • Awesome video bro!

  • @condor5x5 Thanks

  • Great work and a great message. Thanks

  • @Lone38Plus I appreciate the comment

  • God dam a 30 cal nice vid guy

  • @inneedofammo Thanks!

  • Great video. lol

  • @Brandon401401 Thanks Brandon!!

  • Great video, you have some awsome gear. Take care and have a great day.

  • @ewtoutdoors Thanks for stopping by, and leaving a comment!!

  • Where do you get those AMAZING guns?!?!?!?!

  • @StarGaming8 Mostly at gun stores. My Father built that M1 Garand for me when I was 3 yrs. old.

  • i love that garand

  • @tmu27lox It is a sweet rifle!

  • Best line: You can't conquer a nation, without bacon.

  • @revisualize I thought everyone knew that! LOL Thanks

  • Great video this wouldn't be nutnfancy approved but that's ok Nazi Germany wasn't beat with a duracoated pf9 with his halfwit YouTube name dremeled into the slide it was won with guts guile blued steel walnut and the Lord all of with our country is sorely lacking now.

  • @mrwhite4 Yeah the older generations just painted "Killroy was here" all over Europe. LOL Thanks

  • OLd School= BadAss

  • @kaihoosi1 Yeah baby!!

  • i feel bad for the poor sucker that tries to break into your house.

  • @mumbo223 Me too, but I'll be the one who has to clean up the mess. ;)

  • This video should have a disclaimer

*Warning Contains a lot of ounces*

  • @FireArmsResQ There are no ounces here, it's all pounds! :)

  • Badass concept man! Great Idea! Now I want to how the Zombie Apocalypse would of been fought in Abraham Lincon times!

  • @FireArmsResQ Some people are never satisfied! LMAO That will be a short vid, I only have two guns that could fit in that era. Thanks

  • great words brother we need to fix this shit hole we are in

  • @TheJmac1983 Amen to that!

  • @GunzAndGear Thank you so much for the kind words, buddy!! You're pretty great yourself!!

  • @GunzAndGear My Father built that M1 for me when I was 3 yrs old. I've never looked up the serial # on the receiver, but it's my most cherished thing. I do have another M1 Garand that I know is WWII vintage.

  • @GunzAndGear I've never had an authenic military Trench Knife. I do have a copy though, but since it wasn't authenic, I decided not to show it.

That was great that you layed reefs on the memorial!!! Thanks for sharing that!

  • You know what this video is? It's badass. That's right. Bad. Ass. lol :) Love it.

  • @keiterbug15 LOL Thanks for your comment!

  • At the end; Very true words. I was born in the wrong generation..

  • @CRFbadass I sometimes feel the same way.

  • lol not no gangstaz!

  • @cardiacthapoet LOL!!

  • Great vid!!

  • @irishfan84n Thanks

  • LMAO!!!

    Thanks! I needed it . . .

  • @hlaser88 I'm glad you enjoyed it!

  • WOOD AND STEEL IS BADASS lol

  • @Pointburn That's right baby! LOL

  • really fun video

  • @fxhummel1 Thanks, I appreciate it!

  • Nice spin of the zombie apocalype theme this year. Good job

  • @prchico520 Thanks, I just wanted to do something different.

  • @GunznGear

    I love it....

"If you can't kill it with a .45 ACP, then call for an artillery strike."

However, don't diss the Swiss Army knife, it's been around for at least 120 years.

  • @NeptuneBlueZ Blieve it or not, that's an actual quote given to me.

I have a few vids up where I show some SAK's I have both Victornox and Wenger, and I love them!! Thanks
